摘要: A solar concentrator assembly is disclosed. The solar concentrator assembly comprises a first reflective member, a second reflective member, a photovoltaic receiver comprising at least one photovoltaic solar cell unit, and a support structure coupled to the first and second reflective members and the photovoltaic receiver. The first reflective member is shaped to concentrate sunlight in front of the first reflective member, and has an edge region extending inward from an edge adjacent the second reflective member. The edge region is formed in a shape which curves away from the photovoltaic receiver near the first edge.

摘要: A bug Catching Device with a hollow housing having a sides, a housing lid, one or more thin walled extension tubes and one or more additional thin walled extension tubes. The housing lid has an upwardly directed collar for holding an extension tube and a downwardly directed collar that extends down one inch. The housing lid is screwed onto the housing. A tip member integral with the tube or is a separate member inserted into the end of the extension tube. The user scrapes a bug off a surface with the tip member causing the bug to slide down into the housing and to be unable to escape the housing. Additional extension tubes can be added for reaching high locations.

摘要: A shingle system, mountable to a support surface, includes overlapping shingle assemblies. Each shingle assembly comprises a support bracket, having upper and lower ends, secured to a shingle body. The upper end has an upper support portion, extending away from the shingle body, and an upper support-surface-engaging part, engageable with a support surface so that the upper edge of the shingle body is positionable at a first distance from the support surface to create a first gap therebetween. The lower end has a lower support portion extending away from the lower surface. The support brackets create: (1) a second gap between shingle bodies of the first and second shingle assemblies, and (2) an open region beneath the first shingle assembly fluidly coupling the first and second gaps.
