Abstract: An antenna module includes first and second signal pads, an antenna element, and first and second filters. The first signal pad is coupled to the antenna element through the first to fourth conductor patterns of the first filter. The second signal pad is coupled to the antenna element through the fifth to eighth conductor patterns of the first filter. The second, third, sixth and seventh conductor patterns extend along the diagonal line of the antenna element. The second and sixth conductor patterns face each other with the diagonal line interposed therebetween. The third and seventh conductor patterns face each other with the diagonal line interposed therebetween. The first, fourth, fifth and eighth conductor patterns extend in the second direction, respectively with respect to the second, third, sixth and seventh conductor patterns.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an antenna device that includes a filter layer, an antenna layer, a divider layer, and ground patterns. The antenna layer has first and second radiation conductors and first and second ground pillars that surround the first and second radiation conductors, respectively. Each of the first and second ground patterns has a first area that overlaps a first space surrounded by the first ground pillars, a second area that overlaps a second space surrounded by the plurality of second ground pillars, and a third area that connects the first and second areas. A width of the third area in a width direction perpendicular to an arrangement direction of the first and second areas is smaller than a width of each of the first and second areas in the width direction.

Abstract: A band-pass filter includes an unbalanced port, a first balanced port, a second balanced port, and first to third resonators provided between the unbalanced port and the first and second balanced ports. The second resonator and the third resonator each are a resonator with both ends open. The second resonator and the third resonator are adjacent to each other in a circuit configuration, and electromagnetically coupled by magnetic coupling as main coupling. The first resonator is provided closer to the second resonator than to the third resonator, and jump-coupled to the third resonator.

Abstract: A band-pass filter includes a main body, five resonators, a shield, and a partition. The main body is formed of a dielectric. The partition is formed of a conductor. The five resonators are configured so that capacitive coupling is established between every two of the resonators adjacent to each other in circuit configuration. Each of the five resonators includes a resonator conductor portion. A first stage resonator and a fifth stage resonator are magnetically coupled to each other although not adjacent to each other in circuit configuration. The partition extends to pass between the respective resonator conductor portions of the first stage resonator and the fifth stage resonator, and is electrically connected to the shield.

Abstract: A band-pass filter includes five resonators. The five resonators are configured so that capacitive coupling is established between every two of the resonators adjacent to each other in circuit configuration. The first stage resonator and the fifth stage resonator are magnetically coupled to each other. The second stage resonator and the fourth stage resonator are capacitively coupled to each other. Each of the five resonators includes a resonator conductor portion. The respective resonator conductor portions of the first and fifth stage resonators are physically adjacent to each other. The respective resonator conductor portions of the second and fourth stage resonators are physically adjacent to each other. The respective resonator conductor portions of the first and second stage resonators are physically adjacent to each other. The respective resonator conductor portions of the fourth and fifth stage resonators are physically adjacent to each other.

Abstract: A directional coupler includes a first to a fourth port, a main line connecting the first port and the second port, a first and a second subline section configured to be electromagnetically coupled to the main line, and a phase shifter. The first subline section, the phase shifter, and the second subline section are arranged in this order in series between the third port and the fourth port. The phase shifter outputs a signal that is phase-delayed relative to an input signal. The phase delay amount of the output signal of the phase shifter relative to the input signal increases with increasing frequency of the input signal. A frequency twice as high as the frequency of the input signal at which the phase delay amount is 90 degrees is lower than the frequency of the input signal at which the phase delay amount is 180 degrees.

Abstract: A directional coupler includes: a main line connecting an input port and an output port; first to third subline sections each of which is formed of a line configured to be electromagnetically coupled to the main line; a first matching section provided between the first subline section and the second subline section; and a second matching section provided between the second subline section and the third subline section. The first and second matching sections are configured to cause changes in phase of high frequency signals passing therethrough, and have mutually different characteristics so as to create two attenuation poles in the frequency response of the coupling of the directional coupler.
