摘要: A method for control of a telematic control unit comprises obtaining of information of discontinuity-beneficial conditions, associated with a vehicle to which the telematic control unit is connected. The discontinuity-beneficial conditions indicate that an extended discontinuous reception mode would be beneficial for the telematic control unit and the vehicle to which it is connected. A determination of an extended discontinuous reception time for the telematic control unit to propose is obtained. A request for an extended discontinuous reception mode for the telematic control unit is initiated as a response to obtained discontinuity-beneficial conditions, proposing the determined extended discontinuous reception time. A telematic control unit configured for performing such a control method is also presented.

摘要: A non-transitory computer readable medium has instructions stored therein to be executed by a packet processing unit (PPU) in a communications network to allow a plurality of PPUs in the communications network to independently allocate IP addresses from a shared pool of IP addresses. The plurality of PPUs collectively maintain a distributed hash table (DHT). The DHT stores a distributed block allocation table (DBAT) and a plurality of distributed address allocation tables (DAATs). The DBAT includes an entry for each of a plurality of blocks of IP addresses to indicate which of the plurality of blocks are allocated to which of the plurality of PPUs. Each of the plurality of DAATs corresponds to one of the blocks in the DBAT and includes an entry for each of the IP addresses in that block to indicate which of the IP addresses in that block are allocated to which user entities.

摘要: A communication device receives an uplink grant from a node of a cellular network. The uplink grant indicates uplink radio resources allocated to the communication device in reoccurring time intervals. For each of these time intervals, the communication device selects between an active mode and an inactive mode. In the active mode the communication device performs an uplink transmission in the allocated uplink radio resources. In the inactive mode the communication device performs no uplink transmission in the allocated uplink radio resources.

摘要: A node (100) of a cellular network sends an uplink grant (803) to a communication device (10). The uplink grant indicates uplink radio resources allocated to the communication device (10) in reoccurring time intervals. In response to detecting a need for an uplink retransmission (814) by a further communication device (10′) on at least a part of the allocated uplink radio resources in a certain one of the time intervals, the node (100) sends control information (808) to the communication device (10). The control information (808) temporarily disables utilization of at least this part of the allocated uplink radio resources in at least this certain time interval by the communication device (10).

摘要: Embodiments herein include a method in a server for scheduling of an information transmission from an information providing device to a subscriber equipment in a communication system. The method comprises determining a moment in time at which the subscriber equipment desires information. Also, an estimation of the communication intensity in the communication system at the determined moment in time is obtained. If the estimated communication intensity exceeds a certain threshold value, an appropriate period in time for the information providing device to send desired information to the subscriber equipment is calculated, based on the communication intensity in the communication system. Furthermore, a trigger signal is sent to the information providing device, requesting the information providing device at what moment in time to provide information to the subscriber equipment. A method in an information providing device is also disclosed.
