摘要： An electric steam iron having a standard steam spray mode for spraying a standard quantity of steam and an enhanced steam spray mode for spraying an increased quantity of steam as compared with that afforded during the standard steam spray mode. This electric steam iron includes a soleplate having a heater mounted thereon for heating the soleplate and a vaporizing chamber defined therein, a handle disposed above the soleplate, a water tank unit for supplying water to the vaporizing chamber, and a nozzle disposed at a bottom of the water tank unit. The electric steam iron also includes a valving mechanism for selectively opening and closing the nozzle for controlling supply of water to the vaporizing chamber, and a pumping mechanism for supplying an increased quantity of water within the water tank unit towards the vaporizing chamber to accomplish the enhanced steam spray mode. A cover plate is secured to a bottom wall member of the water tank unit so as to define a water passage beneath the water tank unit and covering the pumping mechanism and an exit side of the nozzle. This cover plate has an opening defined therein in communication with the vaporizing chamber.

摘要： This invention relates to a process for preparing a titanium oxide powder comprising heating titanium dioxide powder in an atmosphere of ammonia gas at a temperature of about 500.degree. C. to about 950.degree. C. The product powder is very fine, highly uniform in particle size and useful as an electrically conductive material. The powder is colored blue to black depending upon the process conditions and therefore is useful as a pigment, too.

The attachment member is electrically connected to the washing machine housing. In the leaked water tub, a lowest end of the attachment member is positioned on the lower side of a lowest end of the electrode. Thereby, a safe and inexpensive washing machine is realized.

摘要： It is intended to provide a method capable of introducing an arbitrary modification group into a synthetic protein and a method capable of easily controlling the syntheses of a modified protein and an unmodified protein. The present invention provides a method of cell-free protein synthesis comprising: performing cell-free protein synthesis using as a reaction solution of cell-free protein synthesis, a mixture solution of an extract derived from a eukaryotic cell and a reagent solution comprising as a substrate, a substance having a desired group to be introduced as a post-translational modification group; and thereby obtaining a protein comprising the post-translational modification group introduced therein. Preferably, the group to be introduced is an acyl group of fatty acid, and the form of the post-translational modification is lipid modification at the N-terminus of the protein.
