    摘要: The output shaft of a nut runner for tightening a fastener such as a bolt is first rotated with a first torque at a first speed. When the tightening torque of the output shaft reaches a preset switching torque, the first torque first speed rotation of the output shaft is interrupted, and thereafter the output shaft is rotated with a second torque at a second speed. When the tightening torque then reaches a preset snug torque, the second torque second speed rotation of the output shaft is interrupted, and thereafter the output shaft is rotated with a third torque at a third speed. When the tightening torque reaches a preset final torque, the third torque third speed rotation of the output shaft is stopped, thus completing the tightening of the fastener.

    摘要: A protrusion is formed downstream of the throat of an insulating nozzle of a gas-insulated circuit breaker of puffer type. Quenching gas, after collision with the protrusion, is blown against an arc generated between a fixed arcing contact and a moving arcing contact in the opening process of the gas-insulated circuit breaker. As a result, a pressure drop at or near the forward end (Q) of the fixed arcing contact can be prevented thereby to improve the insulation strength in the opening process.

    摘要: A constant-velocity joint includes an outer ring formed with a bore defined by six flat surfaces parallel to its axis, and a trunnion member received in the bore of the outer ring. The trunnion member has an outer periphery formed with three first spherical surfaces circumferentially spaced apart from each other and three second spherical surfaces circumferentially spaced apart from each other and each disposed between adjacent first spherical surfaces. Each first spherical surface is in contact with one of the flat surfaces at a point offset from the circumferential center of the flat surface in one circumferential direction. Each second spherical surface is in contact with another flat surface at a point offset from the circumferential center of the flat surface in the other circumferential direction. At least one of the outer ring and the trunnion member is made of a synthetic resin.
