    摘要: A electrophotographic image fixing device fixes a toner image on a substrate. The substrate is passed between two pressing rollers disposed in opposition to each other to fix toner images on the substrate. The pressing rollers includes a surface constructed from an elastic material layer such that the elastic material layer can be deformed approximately 0.5-1.5% in terms of thickness. The pressing force against the toner applied side of the substrate is adjusted to 0.3-1 kg/cm.sup.2. As a result, an image with excellent toner fixing strength can be formed on a substrate such as an envelope without wrinkling the substrate during the fixing operation.

    摘要: In an electrophotographic recording apparatus, toner images of different colors formed on a photosensitive belt are transferred in overlapping fashion to an intermediate transfer drum to form a color toner image and the color toner image is transferred to a secondary recording medium by means of a transfer unit and then fixed. The intermediate transfer drum includes an electrically conductive drum substrate and a dielectric layer whose resistance is adjusted to a predetermined range, and the drum substrate is connected to earth potential so that setting of an electric field for toner image transfer from the photosensitive belt may not interfere with setting of an electric field for toner image transfer by the transfer unit. Efficiencies of transfer at the two transfer sections can be improved to provide a color image of high quality and the apparatus can be reduced in size.

    摘要: An image information recorder, including a printer capable of a continuous printing in the direction of scanning lines, for reproducing binary input data of an image of a resolution density of 400 dpi (dots per inch) in a form of a visual image of the resolution density of 600 dpi. The input data of 400 dpi is transformed into multi-value image data of 600 dpi in accordance with two-dimensional filtering, which is converted into an analog image signal. The analog image signal is smoothed by a low pass filter, and then the smoothed analog image signal is binarized by a constant threshold signal, whereby an output binary image data of 600 dpi is produced.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a method for purifying a high-temperature reducing gas by continuously circulating the processes of reducing a regenerated absorbent with the high-temperature reducing gas, until concentrations of aimed reducing gases have become uniform on upstream and downstream sides of the absorbent, and absorbing sulfur compounds by the use of this absorbent and thereby removing these sulfur compounds therefrom; the aforesaid method being characterized by using at least three reactors filled with the absorbent, by consisting of the four steps of reduction, absorption, SO.sub.2 reduction and regeneration, and by comprising the steps of feeding a circulating gas from the regenerating step to the SO.sub.2 reducing step; converting an SO.sub.2 gas produced in the regenerating step and the SO.sub.2 reducing step into elemental sulfur and recovering the latter as liquid sulfur; and introducing a part of the SO.sub.2 gas into the reducing step and returning the remaining SO.sub.2 gas to the regenerating step.
