    摘要: To realize a multifunctional watch which is constituted so as to be capable of forming a plurality of movement layouts without changing sizes and shapes of components for the movement only by changing positions where the components are incorporated. A movement 201 of a multifunctional watch is provided with a first train wheel rotational center and a second train wheel rotational center. The first train wheel rotational center and the second train wheel rotational center are aligned on a position between a main plate center 202c of a main plate 202 and a main plate outline portion of the main plate 202. On the first train wheel rotational center and the second train wheel rotational center, a train wheel guide portion for rotatably guiding a train wheel member is disposed, respectively. A train wheel for displaying time information or calendar information is aligned rotatably for on of the first train wheel rotational center and the second train wheel rotational center.

    摘要: To realize a small-sized analog multifunction timepiece by adopting a fan shape moving hand mechanism which does not use a hairspring. A multifunction timepiece of the invention is provided with a day display mechanism for operating a small hand moving in a fan shape. The day display mechanism is provided with a day indicator driving wheel, a day jumper, a small day wheel for displaying calendar information, a hammer constituted to rotate based on rotation of a day indicator transmission wheel, and a day return spring for exerting a rotational force to the small day wheel. By bringing a cam contact portion of the hammer to a transmission cam outer periphery portion and exerting an elastic force to a return cam outer shape portion by a return spring portion of the day return spring, the small day wheel is constituted to be exerted with a rotational force in a constant direction.

    摘要: A mechanical timepiece has a power source comprised of a mainspring for undergoing rewinding movement to generate a rotational force. A front train wheel undergoes rotation in accordance with a rotational force generated during rewinding movement of the mainspring. An escapement/speed-control device controls rotation of the front train wheel. The escapement/speed-control device has a balance with a hairspring for undergoing alternately repeating rotational movement in left and right directions. An escape wheel and pinion undergoes rotation in accordance with rotation of the front train wheel. A pallet fork controls rotation of the escape wheel and pinion in accordance with rotational movement of the balance. A switch mechanism outputs an ON signal when a rotation angle of the balance reaches a predetermined threshold angle or greater, outputs an OFF signal when the rotation angle of the balance does not exceed the predetermined threshold angle. A rotation angle control mechanism supresses rotation of the balance when the switch mechanism outputs an ON signal.

A movement of a multifunction timepiece is provided with a calendar information display mechanism. The calendar information display mechanism is provided with a transmission wheel having a transmission cam portion, a display wheel constituted to rotate based on rotation of the transmission wheel and for displaying calendar information, a first hammer rotatably provided by being brought into contact with a transmission cam portion, and a second hammer rotatably provided in corporation with the display wheel. The first hammer includes a cam contact portion and an operating wheel portion. The second hammer is constituted to always receive a force of rotating in a constant direction.

    摘要: According to a rate adjusting method, the movement of a mechanical timepiece is first assembled. The assembled movement is then disposed in a vertical position, and the rate is measured with respect to a plurality of vertical positions. On the basis of the result of this rate measurement, the magnitude and direction of the positional difference vector are calculated. On the basis of the result of this calculaton, the amount of weight to be added to or subtracted from the annular balance of the movement is calculated and the positions on the annular balance where this amount of weight is to be added to or to be subtracted from is calculated. Based on the results of these calculations, the amount of weight is added to or subtracted from the annular balance at the calculated positions.
