摘要： A coated paper is white and glossy enough to give satisfaction as a printing paper, exhibits a good printability in offset sheet-fed printing and a high printing gloss, and does not degrade the print efficiency. The coated paper is characterized by having two or more coating layers composed mainly of a pigment and an adhesive on at least one side of a base paper. When ink is transferred onto the paper, the ink settability is relatively low in the early stage of the drying process and relatively high in the final stage.

摘要： The invention provides a thin high-strength hot-rolled steel sheet with a thickness of not more than 3.5 mm which has excellent stretch flangeability and high uniformity in both shape and mechanical properties of the steel sheet, as well as a method of producing the hot-rolled steel sheet. A slab containing C: 0.05-0.30 wt %, Si: 0.03-1.0 wt %, Mn: 1.5-3.5 wt %, P: not more than 0.02 wt %, S: not more than 0.005 wt %, Al: not more than 0.150 wt %, N: not more than 0.0200 wt %, and one or two of Nb: 0.003-0.20 wt % and Ti: 0.005-0.20 wt % is heated at a temperature of not higher than 1200° C. The slab is hot-rolled at a finish rolling end temperature of not lower than 800° C., preferably at a finish rolling start temperature of 950-1050° C. A hot-rolled sheet is started to be cooled within two seconds after the end of the rolling, and then continuously cooled down to a coiling temperature at a cooling rate of 20-150° C./sec. The hot-rolled sheet is coiled at a temperature of 300-550° C., preferably in excess of 400° C. A fine bainite structure is obtained in which the mean grain size is not greater than 3.0 &mgr;m, the aspect ratio is not more than 1.5, and preferably the maximum size of the major axis is not greater than 10 &mgr;m.

摘要： An electrophotographic toner composition having excellent fixing property at a low temperature, offset resistance, blocking resistance and the like comprising a resin binder and a colorant dispersed in the resin binder wherein the resin binder contains a non-linear polyester resin comprising (a) a dicarboxylic acid as an acid component, (b) a rosin glycidyl ester, an esterificated diphenol and a dihydric alcohol having no phenyl ring as an alcohol component, and (c) a polycarboxylic acid having a valency of not less than 3 and/or a polyhydric alcohol having a valency of not less than 3 as a crosslinking component; the content of the rosin glycidyl ester is 5 to 50% by mole based on the component (b), the content of the etherificated diphenol is 20 to 95% by mole based on the component (b) and the component of the dihydric alcohol having no phenyl ring is 0 to 30% by mole based on the component (b); and the content of the component (c) is 0.5 to 20% by weight based on the polyester resin. A polyvalent metal compound may be used in the above polyester resin in order to improve electric properties in high moisture.

摘要： A variable venturi type carburetor is provided having a vacuum generated in the venturi portion in accordance with the throttle valve opening. The vacuum is transmitted into a suction chamber through a vacuum passage so as to balance the force which is the sum of the force exerted by a suction spring and the force exerted by the atmospheric pressure introduced from an atmospheric pressure chamber. The suction piston is set to provide a cross-sectional area of the venturi portion corresponding to the intake air flow rate. The suction piston is provided with a guide groove receiving a guide roller which is rotatably mounted on a guide pin provided on the carburetor casing to oppose to the guide groove. The guide roller is adapted to roll along the guide groove to smooth the movement of the suction piston and prevents the suction piston from being rotated. The combination of the guide roller and the guide groove is free from the problem of wear, even after a long use, so as to ensure an extremely small hysteresis of behaviour of the suction piston and hence a highly accurate adjustment of the air fuel ratio. A suction spring is fixed at its both ends to the suction piston and the suction chamber in a twisted condition so as to bias the suction piston in a circumferential or rotational direction.
