    摘要： A specialty vehicle is provided with first and second rails on opposite lateral sides of the vehicle that extend from the front portion of the vehicle above the passenger compartment to a rear portion of the vehicle. The first and second rails have a plurality of grooves on an inwardly facing side thereof for receiving a windshield, a sun visor and a sun shade in a sliding relationship to permit repositioning. A key hole slot is provided for receiving a seatbelt retractor, grab handle, side view mirror or other accessory on a downwardly facing side of the first and second rails. The sun shade is preferably retained on a roll. The sun shade is a flexible web reinforced by a plurality of longitudinally spaced ribs and a front roof bar. The sun visor may be formed in two parts and retained between a center track and one of the rails. A linearly driven reciprocating windshield wiper is provided on the rails.

    摘要： A marine heave compensating device comprises a hydraulic piston and cylinder unit (15,16) with its cylinder (15) secured to a support (10,11). The piston is connected via a piston rod (16) to a cross-head (17) on which a first set of pulleys (18) are rotatably mounted. Chains (19) secured at one end to the support (10,11) are entrained around pulleys (18) and support a yoke (20) on which is mounted a crown block (21). A cable (22) is reeved around crown block (21) and around a travelling block (23) which carries a tool carrier (24). The two ends of cable (22) are reeved around two second pulleys (26A,26B) rotatably mounted on the cross-head (17). End (22A) of cable (22) is connected to a draw-works and end (22B) of cable (22) is connected to a tie-down.

The storage compartment has a primary compartment that is slidably mounted to the vehicle body. Sub-compartments are pivotally connected to the side walls of the primary compartment. The sub-compartments are pivoted from a closed position wherein the sub-compartments overlie a base portion of the primary compartment to a open position wherein the sub-compartments are pivoted on a pivot connection to a position wherein they are outboard of the base. A deck lid is provided to enclose the storage compartment.
