    摘要: A multi-core optical fiber apparatus is disclosed. The multi-core optical fiber apparatus includes a cladding comprising quartz and a plurality of cores embedded in the cladding. Each of the cores has a diameter (D) ranging from 1.3 μm to 2.0 μm, a numerical aperture (NA) from 0.35 to 0.45 and a refractive index profile factor (α) from 2.0 to 4.0. A center of each of the cores has a germanium content of 20 wt % to 30 wt %. An interval between adjacent cores is 3.0 μm or more.

    摘要: An endoscope ocular portion fitted with a microscope gripping mechanism 9 is adopted where a microscope gripping mechanism 10 has; a microscope gripping portion 12 for gripping a microscope ocular portion 11a of a medical microscope 11, an endoscope securing portion 14 secured to an endoscope ocular portion 13a, and a linkage portion 16 linking the microscope gripping portion 12 and endoscope securing portion 14, and positioning and securing the endoscope ocular portion 13a and the microscope ocular portion 11a on the same virtual plane 15 and at approximately the same spacing W as the pupil distance of an observer. According to this endoscope ocular portion fitted with a microscope gripping mechanism 9, observation of both the medical microscope and the endoscope at the same time without the observer significantly moving their head or body, is possible at low cost.

    摘要: A medical laser treatment device comprises a handpiece having a handpiece body and a laser probe to be attached to the handpiece body, a laser light source, and a light transmission member which guides laser light to the handpiece. The laser probe has a fiber probe having an emission face through which the laser light is emitted to an irradiation region, an annular protection tube which covers the peripheral face of the fiber probe, and a holder which holds the fiber probe and the protection tube. The protection tube has a curved part extending with being curved. A first fiber curved part is formed in the fiber probe by passing the fiber probe through the protection tube. A second fiber curved part having a radius of curvature is smaller than that of the first fiber curved part is disposed in a tip end portion of a fiber probe.

    摘要: A display apparatus includes a transparent light guide plate, a light source provided on at least one end surface of the light guide plate, and a mask provided on a front surface of the light guide plate. The light guide plate is formed of a plurality of reflecting and scattering portions having reflecting and scattering surfaces that reflect a light emitted from the light source and emit the reflected light from a front surface side. The mask allows an observer to visually recognize the light reflected from a reflective portion for the right eye, using the right eye, and the light reflected from a reflective portion for the left eye, using the left eye, whereby the reflected light beams can be stereoscopically recognized due to binocular parallax.
