摘要: A method using a receiving substrate and a target substrate having a photon-transparent support, a photon absorbent interlayer coated on the support, and a tissue-implantable particle on top of the interlayer opposite to the support. A source of photon energy is directed through the transparent support so that the photon energy strikes the interlayer. A portion of the interlayer is energized by absorption of the photon energy. The energized interlayer causes a transfer of the particle across a gap between the target substrate and the receiving substrate and embedding of the particle into the receiving substrate.

摘要: An apparatus and method utilizes photonics, particularly lasers, and biometric feedback for physiological and neurological stimulation. While many areas of the body are candidates, such laser stimulation is particularly directed to the outer ear. Lasers positioned over the ear stimulate targets on the outer ear for pain and stress management and regulation of the autonomic nervous system to affect symptoms and clinical conditions. Laser positioning, wavelength, aiming, focus, power, power density, timing, and sequencing are managed and modified dynamically in real time to effect a personalized and effective treatment protocol.

摘要: The present invention relates to a system for fundamentally eliminating skin damage caused by direct radiation of a laser beam on the skin of a user and inducing a somatic sensation on the skin within a safety standard by radiating a pulse laser beam on a medium attached to the skin of the user on which the somatic sensation is desired to be induced. Particularly, the present invention relates to a somatic sensation induction system which can induce a somatic sensation of various feelings delivered to a user by adjusting an absorption coefficient of a medium contacting with the skin of a user, energy intensity and a repetition rate of a radiated laser beam and the like.

摘要: Provided herein are ophthalmic phototherapy devices and associated phototherapy methods for promoting healing of damaged or diseased eye tissue. An ophthalmic phototherapy device includes a light emitting mechanism for transmitting light of at least one preselected wavelength to the eye tissue. An ophthalmic phototherapy method includes directing light of at least one wavelength for a selected period of time to a portion of damaged or diseased eye tissue, whereby the light transmitted to the damaged or diseased eye tissue stimulates cellular activity in the eye tissue to promote healing.

摘要: The invention is directed to a vaccine for generating an enhanced immune response in a subject previously exposed to non-destructive laser radiation, as compared to an immune response in a subject previously non-exposed to non-destructive laser radiation. The invention is also directed to use of a composition comprising a vaccine for use in combination with non-destructive laser radiation for generating an enhanced immune response from a subject, as compared to an immune response without the use of laser radiation. The laser exposure acts as an adjuvant for the vaccine, increasing the efficacy and/or potency of the vaccine.
