摘要: An ultrasonic calculus treatment apparatus includes a longitudinal-vibration piezoelectric oscillator for vibrating in the axial direction of an ultrasonic transmitting member and a torsional-vibration piezoelectric oscillator for vibrating about the axial direction, and further includes driving circuits for driving the piezoelectric oscillators at respective resonance frequencies and a mode selection switch for permitting the oscillators to vibrate independently or in combination, so that lithotripsy can be performed effectively in accordance with the size of a calculus or a function of an operating tool.

摘要: An ultrasonic operation system includes: a transmission cable that is connected detachably, through a connector, to a connector receptacle in a main apparatus unit; plural types of transducers provided with a connector receptacle each capable of detachably connecting the connector of the transmission cable, an identification element for outputting its own identification signal, and a ultrasonic vibrator, correspondingly; and a main apparatus unit for receiving the identification signals in an identification circuit, automatically controlling drive signals that a control circuit causes a drive signal generator unit to generate, and automatically displaying the identified instrument on a control-display unit.

摘要: An ultrasound treatment system in accordance with the present invention includes: ultrasonic transducers for generating ultrasonic vibrations; a handpiece including the ultrasonic transducers and serving as an operation unit; a probe connected to the ultrasonic transducers and serving as a vibration conveyer for conveying ultrasonic transducers to a distal member constituting a stationary section of a treatment unit used to treat a living tissue; a sheath serving as a protective member for shielding the probe; a holding member opposed to the distal member at the distal end of the sheath and constituting a movable section of the treatment unit which clamps a living tissue in cooperation with the distal member; a manipulator to be handled for clamping or freeing a living tissue using the holding member and distal member; an operation member for driving the holding member responsively to a movement of the manipulator; and a turning mechanism for turning the treatment unit relative to the manipulator with the axial direction of the ultrasonic transducers as a center.

摘要: A cavity insert device comprising an insert section capable of being inserted into tracts and cavities, a detection circuit for detecting conditions of components making up the device, such as an observation device formed at the distal end side of the insert section, and a fuzzy inference section for synthetically determining a plurality of information signals outputted from the detection circuit and producing control signals to control the components. The fuzzy inference section employs inference rules which are empirically considered to be desirable, and control is made by the control signals obtained with the fuzzy inference. The device is thus operated in a nearly optimum state.

摘要: An ultrasound treatment system comprises an ultrasonic transducer, a handpiece, a probe, a sheath, a clamping member, an operation unit, an operating member, a suction base, and a perfusion base. The ultrasonic transducer generates ultrasonic vibrations. The handpiece has the ultrasonic transducer incorporated therein. The probe is connected to the ultrasonic transducer for transmitting ultrasonic vibrations to a distal member realizing a stationary portion that is a treatment portion for treating a living tissue. The sheath serves as a protecting member for shielding the probe. The clamping member is opposed to the distal member at the distal end of the sheath for clamping a living tissue in cooperation with the distal member. The operation unit is manipulated for clamping a living tissue with the clamping member and distal member or freeing the living tissue therefrom.

摘要: In an electric operation apparatus, a counter plate of a mono-polar type and a counter plate of a separate type are used to perform an electric operation. A counter plate connector connects a counter plate of a mono-polar type and a counter plate of a separate type. A first monitor is connected to the counter plate connector, and monitors the condition of the counter plate of the mono-polar type. A second monitor is connected to the counter plate connector, and monitors the condition of the counter plate of the separate type. A detector makes the first and second monitors operate on the basis of a predetermined operation procedure, thereby to detect the attachment conditions of the counter plates of respective types connected to the counter plate connector.
