    摘要: A stereoscopic display device includes a display panel, and a light modulator. The display panel provides a first display information and a second display information alternately by scanning. The light modulator is disposed on the side of a display surface of the display panel and receives the first display information and the second display information. The light modulator provides a first modulating mode and a second modulating mode alternately by scanning synchronously with the display panel. The first modulating mode corresponds to the first display information, and renders the first display information having a first polarization state; the second modulating mode corresponds to the second display information, and renders the second display information having a second polarization state.

The method includes determining a first predetermined gray-level and a second predetermined gray-level which are corresponding to a target gray-level according to the target gray-level of the pixel, wherein an equivalent gray-level corresponding to the first predetermined gray-level and the second predetermined gray-level is equal to the target gray-level, thereafter, generating a first driving voltage and a second driving voltage according to the first predetermined gray-level and the second predetermined gray-level for respectively driving a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel within the pixel during a frame period. The first driving voltage is greater than the second driving voltage when the equivalent gray-level is small than a first setting gray-level; the first driving voltage is small than the second driving voltage when the equivalent gray-level is greater than the first setting gray-level.

    摘要: An image display method of a stereo display apparatus is provided. The image display method includes the following steps. A stereo display apparatus is provided, wherein the stereo display apparatus provides N view zones for a viewer and includes a periodic structure and a pixel plane. N view zones are divided in a space according to the N value. Projection areas corresponding to each of the view zones are formed on the pixel plane by the periodic structure, wherein each of the projection areas corresponds to at least one sub-pixel unit on the pixel plane. Image information of each view zone is obtained according to the corresponding sub-pixel units. A stereo image is displayed by blending image information of each view zone.

The switchable barrier has a 3D image control area, a non-display area surrounding the 3D image control area, and a second black matrix merely disposed within the non-display area.
