    摘要: A method for driving a pixel is provided. The method includes determining a first predetermined gray-level and a second predetermined gray-level which are corresponding to a target gray-level according to the target gray-level of the pixel, wherein an equivalent gray-level corresponding to the first predetermined gray-level and the second predetermined gray-level is equal to the target gray-level, thereafter, generating a first driving voltage and a second driving voltage according to the first predetermined gray-level and the second predetermined gray-level for respectively driving a first sub-pixel and a second sub-pixel within the pixel during a frame period. The first driving voltage is greater than the second driving voltage when the equivalent gray-level is small than a first setting gray-level; the first driving voltage is small than the second driving voltage when the equivalent gray-level is greater than the first setting gray-level.

    摘要: An imaging device uses a fiber optic faceplate (FOF) with a compressive sampling algorithm for the fluorescent imaging of a sample over an large field-of-view without the need for any lenses or mechanical scanning. The imaging device includes a sample holder configured to hold a sample and a prism or hemispherical glass surface disposed adjacent the sample holder on a side opposite the lower surface of the sample holder. A light source is configured to illuminate the sample via the prism or the hemispherical surface, wherein substantially all of the light is subject to total internal reflection at the lower surface of the sample holder. The FOF is disposed adjacent to the lower surface of the sample holder, the fiber optic array having an input side and an output side. The device includes an imaging sensor array disposed adjacent to the output side of the fiber optic array.

The first and the second sub-pixel electrodes disposed in the first and second sub-pixel areas respectively include at least two display domains at left and right. The first data line is disposed under the interface between two domains of each of the first and second sub-pixel electrodes, and the second data line is disposed under the edges of the first and second sub-pixel electrodes. The gate line is disposed between the first and second sub-pixel areas. The first sub-pixel electrode is controlled by the gate line and the first data line through the first transistor. The second sub-pixel electrode is controlled by the gate line and the second data line through the second transistor.

    摘要: A liquid crystal display (LCD) including an LCD panel, a gate driver and a data driver is provided. The LCD panel has pixel units, scan lines and several pairs of data lines. Each of the pixel units is electrically connected to a corresponding scan line and a corresponding pair of data lines and has two display regions respectively connected to different data lines. Besides, the gate driver is electrically connected to several scan lines. The data driver is electrically connected to several pairs of data lines. The data driver has a voltage difference generator electrically connected to several pairs of data lines such that the voltages outputted by the pair of data lines are maintained at a fixed voltage difference. Thus, the invention simplifies the complexity of circuit signal processing and lowers the production cost of circuits.
