Abstract:
The present invention relates to a truck mixer with at least one extension chute which for transport can be received on a holding means in a locked manner, wherein the holding means can be swiveled rotatorily and/or translatorily between a transport position and a removal position.
Abstract:
In a method for producing hot-rolled sections of steel with a rectangular or square cross-section, a substantially round pipe blank produced seamlessly by hot rolling or cold finished and welded and having a defined nominal outside diameter is initially produced and then formed at a forming temperature into a hollow section having the required cross-section, with visible edges C1 and C2 of the hollow section having a value ≦1.5×t (t=wall thickness). The pipe blank has a nominal outer diameter determined from a reduction ratio of the pipe blank to be achieved and the hollow section dimensions to be achieved, wherein the reduction ration lies within a range of −2% to −13% and is determined according to the following formula: Reduction ratio R[%]=[(2×(H+B))−π×D]×100%/[2×(H+B)].
Abstract:
The invention relates to a traction rod (1) for bracing a crane jib, comprising a metallic tubular body (2) and coupling elements (3) which are connected to both ends thereof for an articulated connection of the traction rods among each other by means of bolts (5). According to the invention, the tubular body and the coupling elements consist of a one-piece tube portion, wherein the coupling elements are designed in each case as a thicker zone of the wall of the ends of the tubular body and are dimensioned in such a manner that a weakening of the cross section of the nominal wall thickness of the coupling elements, which has to be considered for calculating the load capacity of the tubular body, is prevented in the region of the bolt connection and the transition regions (7) from the respective thicker zones of the wall in the direction of the tubular body have a transition free of starting points for increasing fatigue strength.
Abstract:
An immobilizing device for immobilizing a body part includes a bag which is filled with a granular material and is placed over the body part, an outer shell in which the bag is mounted and a hollow space formed between the outer shell and the bag for receiving pressured air in order to produce a force on the bag for immobilizing the body part. The device provides combined advantages over conventional devices, such as almost no absorption of x-rays, a perfect fit for every kind of body part, comfort for a patient, reusability, low cost, neutral smell, very light weight and easy application.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a compound of formula (I), or a pharmacologically or cosmetically acceptable salt or derivative thereof, wherein R1 to R5 are selected from the groups R1 representing -alkyl, -vinyl, —CHOH—CH2OH, R2 representing H, —OH, —Oalkyl, —Oacyl, saccharide groups, modified saccharide groups (e.g. malonylated), R3 representing —H, —OH, —Oalkyl, —Oacyl, modified —Oacyl (e.g. malonylated), saccharide groups, modified saccharide groups (e.g. malonylated), R4, R5 representing —COOH, -carbonic esters, for use as drug, antioxidant, food supplement. The invention also relates to a method for producing the compound of formula (I).
Abstract:
An optical cable has optical transmission elements stranded about a central reinforcing member. The optical transmission elements are alternatively stranded in a first and second direction of rotation. A sheath surrounds the optical transmission elements, and markings are applied to the sheath to indicate switchback locations in the cable. The markings are applied to the sheath, which is separate from the optical transmission elements. Therefore, the markings need not be applied directly to the transmission elements, so the same control signal can be used to switch the direction of stranding and to apply the marking.
Abstract:
The present application relates to novel substituted enaminocarbonyl compounds, to processes for their preparation and to their use for controlling animal pests, especially arthropods, in particular insects.

Abstract:
Nozzle beam on device for generating liquid jets for jet interweaving of the fibers of a fiber path, comprising an upper part that extends over the operational width of the fiber path, and a lower part that is attached to it in liquid-sealed fashion, wherein a) a pressure chamber is arrayed in the upper part over its length, to which liquid under pressure is fed, and b) a pressure-distributing chamber is provided parallel to chamber (a), which is connected with chamber (a) via liquid flow-through boreholes situated in an intermediate partition, and c) on the lower part, a nozzle strip having boreholes for the nozzle chamber is supported in liquid-sealed fashion, and d) (b) on the area that lies opposite the liquid flow-through boreholds runs out into a slot that terminates at the boreholes of the nozzle strip, and e) in (b) between the liquid flow-through boreholes and the slot, a baffle is situated over the length of the slot, which over its length and over its cross section is situated in (a) so as to allow free flow around it, and the baffle is not screwed to the nozzle beam, but rather inserted into it and can be removed from it, the baffle being held by spacers in a centric or eccentric position.
