Abstract:
A module for an internal combustion engine formed as a unit comprising an oil filter for lubricating oil of the engine and an oil separator for crankcase ventilation gas and which, as a whole, is attached to the engine by a flange connection with flow connections. An oil duct for oil to be filtered and an oil duct for filtered oil extend through the flange. A ventilation duct for ventilation gas and an oil return duct for separated oil also extent through the flange. A drain duct connected to the crankcase via the flange connection is provided for draining the oil filter upon a replacement of the filter element. The drain duct, the ventilation duct and the oil return duct are united in the flange connection and along at least a part of their length in the module in a single combined gas-and-oil duct.
Abstract:
In a fluid filter with a housing and a filter element replaceably located in said housing, and with a filter by pads valve having a valve body held in the housing that is movable against the action of a spring from the closed position in which it cooperates with a sealing surface, into an open position in which it permits a fluid flow to bypass the filter element. The invention proposes that the sealing surface associated with the valve body be formed by the replaceable filter element.
Abstract:
A liquid filter, in particular for oil or fuel in an internal combustion engine, with the liquid filter comprising a filter housing with at least one liquid intake passage and at least one liquid return passage, a releasable cover which closes the filter housing liquid-tight, and an individually replaceable filter insert which can be removed from the filter housing. A hollow fastening screw is arranged centrally in the front wall of the filter housing with the front wall facing the filter connecting flange when in the mounted condition, with the fastening screw turnable in relation to the filter housing. The liquid filter may be tightly screwed to a filter connecting flange of, e.g., an internal combustion engine. A longitudinal middle axis of the filter housing and the plane of the front wall are arranged at an angle
Abstract:
A liquid filter having a housing and a hollow insert. The housing has a dirty liquid feed, a clean liquid outlet and a drainage channel, and is closed by a detachable cover. In the channel, a valve is arranged, having a valve body axially displaceable between a closed and an open position. The cover on the housing presses the valve body into the closed position. When the cover is removed from the housing, the valve body is carried to its open position and then is detachable from the cover or insert and is retainable in its open position by a spring holding element. The holding element automatically expands into the opening position by spring force and engages a spring element restraint holding the valve body in its open position. A force contracts the spring element, displacing the valve body in the closing direction, releasing engagement with the spring restraint.
Abstract:
A fluid filter with a housing, a releasable cover, and a replaceable filter having a filter body and two end discs. The filter is plugged onto a housing pipe and a locking ring is guided on the pipe, preloaded in a push-out direction. The locking ring is locked in a pushed-out position by a locking device. An unlocking device guided by the filter unlocks the locking device when the filter is pushed onto the pipe and enables the locking ring and the filter to be pushed in. When the filter is fitted into the housing, a seal on the end disc or locking ring interacts with a housing sealing surface to separate an untreated filter side from a clean side. When the locking ring is in the pushed-out position and the filter bears against the locking ring, the seal is held away from the sealing surface of the housing.

Abstract:
A bypass valve having an adjustable flow resistance for a device through which a fluid medium flows. The valve includes a seat and a body which is biased closed, and which is movable in the opening direction by a fluid medium pressure difference between the inflow and the outflow side of the valve when the pressure difference exceeds a threshold. A bypass flow path connects the inflow side to the outflow side through the seat. The bypass valve includes a screen disposed in the bypass flow path. The valve body has two different open positions that depend on the fluid medium pressure difference. The entire cross-section of the bypass flow path is covered by the screen in a first valve body open position with a lower pressure difference, and a screen-free bypass flow path cross-section is exposed in a second valve body open position with a greater pressure difference.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a fluid filter, especially an oil filter for an internal combustion engine, comprising a filter housing and a central, approximately tubular component which extends into the interior of the filter, said central component engaging in the operating position a projection located on the filter housing and permanently retained in the filter housing, said component being disengageable from said projection and nondestructively removable in said disassembly position from the filter, the component being rotatably mounted around its longitudinal axis within the filter housing, a retaining component (10) being arranged in rotatably restricted fashion within the filter housing, which retaining component in its operating position surrounds and fixes the central component by means of a clamping or locking interference fit, and the central component being rotatable in its disassembly position when the clamping or locking force is exceeded.
