Abstract:
The present invention relates to a filter element comprising an oil filter port adapted to be in fluid communication with an oil port of an engine the oil filter port includes threads for attaching the filter element in the oil port of the engine. Thus, the inventors realized that by providing the oil port with threads, the oil port of the filter element may be tightened in the oil port of the engine to in this way ensure axial locking of the filter element in the engine. The present invention also relation to a corresponding filter housing.
Abstract:
A water purification system includes: a housing; a reservoir mounted to the housing and configured to hold and provide unfiltered water to the housing; a dispensing spout mounted to the housing and configured to dispense filtered water; and a filter assembly. The filter assembly includes: a filter unit with an inlet fluidly connected with the reservoir, and the outlet fluidly connected with the dispensing spout; a filter receptacle configured to connect the filter unit inlet with the reservoir and the filter unit outlet with the dispensing spout; and a locking yoke. The locking yoke is configured to move between a locked position, in which the locking yoke engages the filter unit and retains the filter unit in the receptacle, and an unlocked position, in which the locking yoke disengages from the filter unit to enable the filter unit to be removed from the receptacle.
Abstract:
A pipeline filter assembly comprising a base assembly, an outer wall, and a lid assembly. The outer wall has a lower end portion and an upper end portion, wherein the upper end portion comprises a lower collar, and the lower collar comprises at least one lock notch spaced around an exterior surface thereof. The lid assembly is configured to couple to the lower collar of the outer wall. The lid assembly has an upper collar configured to mate with the lower collar. The upper collar has at least one housing that is coupled to the upper collar, and at least one biasing clip pivotally mounted within the housing for releasable engagement with the lock notch. A pair of pipeline filter assemblies, wherein at least one connection plate is used.
Abstract:
A method of assembling a canister filter system includes inserting a first filter component into a second filter component, and continuing the insertion until a first tab of either the first filter component or the second filter component contacts the other of the first filter component and the second filter component.
Abstract:
A filter device may include a filter housing cover defining a chamber and an annular filter element arranged within the receiving chamber. The filter device may further include a housing and at least one intermediate piece arranged between the filter housing cover and the housing when the cover is secured to the housing. An inlet duct may be in communication with an untreated side of the filter element and an outlet duct may be in communication with a clean side of the filter element. A drainage duct may be arranged in the housing for draining the chamber during removal of the cover. A closure device may be arrange in the intermediate piece and have a closure element configured to close the drainage duct.
Abstract:
A liquid filter having a housing and a hollow insert. The housing has a dirty liquid feed, a clean liquid outlet and a drainage channel, and is closed by a detachable cover. In the channel, a valve is arranged, having a valve body axially displaceable between a closed and an open position. The cover on the housing presses the valve body into the closed position. When the cover is removed from the housing, the valve body is carried to its open position and then is detachable from the cover or insert and is retainable in its open position by a spring holding element. The holding element automatically expands into the opening position by spring force and engages a spring element restraint holding the valve body in its open position. A force contracts the spring element, displacing the valve body in the closing direction, releasing engagement with the spring restraint.
Abstract:
A portable water conditioning system is provided that includes an incoming water inlet; a reverse osmosis stage in fluid communication with the incoming water inlet, the reverse osmosis stage having a permeate outlet and a concentrate outlet; a diversion device having a diversion valve, the diversion valve placing the concentrate outlet in fluid communication with a waste water outlet; a deionizing stage in fluid communication with a pure water outlet; a bypass valve configured to selectively place the permeate outlet in fluid communication with one or more of the waste water outlet, the deionizing stage, and the pure water outlet; and a controller configured to control the diversion device and the bypass valve to provide water at the pure water outlet of a desired condition.
Abstract:
A seal comprises a lid that is rotary-mounted to a filter container base and has a body with at least two stub pipes and an internal part attached to the body in which are formed circulation ducts positioned as an extension of the stub pipes in opened position, and at least one bypass duct connecting the stub pipes in closed position. The internal part is attached to the body using a rotary bayonet mount by rotating to closed position in which the stub pipes are connected by the bypass duct, and the body together with the attached internal part are attached to the base using a rotate-and-lock bayonet mount. In closed position the internal part is attached to the base in a stationary manner using a longitudinal head joint formed on the joined elements, and the changing to opened position occurs by rotating the body in the rotate-and-lock bayonet mount.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a retaining device for retaining at least one external functional apparatus comprising at least two tube ports on a treatment apparatus, wherein the retaining device comprises at least two stops which restrict a rotational movement of the external functional apparatus inside the retaining device. It further relates to an external functional apparatus as well as a treatment apparatus.
Abstract:
A water filter assembly having a manifold with a rotatable cylinder in which a filter cartridge is removably received is provided. The filter assembly has a noise generator adjacent to the rotatable cylinder of the manifold. When the filter cartridge with the rotatable cylinder is rotated between an installed position and an uninstalled position, the noise generator creates an audible noise. The noise may indicate, for example, that the filter cartridge may be removed from the manifold.
