Abstract:
A bypass valve having an adjustable flow resistance for a device through which a fluid medium flows. The valve includes a seat and a body which is biased closed, and which is movable in the opening direction by a fluid medium pressure difference between the inflow and the outflow side of the valve when the pressure difference exceeds a threshold. A bypass flow path connects the inflow side to the outflow side through the seat. The bypass valve includes a screen disposed in the bypass flow path. The valve body has two different open positions that depend on the fluid medium pressure difference. The entire cross-section of the bypass flow path is covered by the screen in a first valve body open position with a lower pressure difference, and a screen-free bypass flow path cross-section is exposed in a second valve body open position with a greater pressure difference.
Abstract:
Liquid filters comprising a housing having a removable cover, a liquid inlet, an outlet, a replaceable hollow cylindrical filter material insert, and a filter bypass valve comprising a valve seat arranged on the filter insert and a valve body that interacts with the valve seat and is biased in the closing direction. Two radially spaced closed sealing contours are provided between the valve seat and the valve body. At least one bypass channel, connecting the unfiltered and filtered side of the filter while bypassing the filter insert, passes through the valve seat between the sealing contours. The valve body is movably guided in the housing on a housing part, the two sealing contours are offset from each other in the axial direction, and the valve body has a corresponding conical or tapered or dome-like shape in the sealing area of the valve body that interacts with the sealing contours.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a liquid filter for an internal combustion engine. The filter has a housing, a removable cover for closing the housing, and a replaceable filter insert that has a filter surface through which liquid can flow. The filter surface defines a boundary between a flow channel on the filtered side and a flow channel on the unfiltered side of the filter. A non-return valve allows the liquid to flow through the filter at pressure conditions that prevail when the engine is running. When the engine is shut off, the non-return valve prevents flow of liquid through the filter, thereby holding within the filter housing the liquid that was in the filter when the engine was shut off. The non-return valve is placed in the flow channel on the filtered side.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an oil module of a water-cooled internal combustion engine, comprising an oil filter, oil and water channels, a water pump and a thermostatic valve which opens various temperature-dependent water circuits. One water channel starts behind the thermostatic valve in the direction of flow and leads to the suction side of the water pump inside the oil module. The oil module has a housing to which at least one additional functional component is connected. The water channel extends along two sides of the housing which are oriented at an angle in relation to each other, both sides of said channel respectively opening on both sides on at least one sub-section of their length onto the surface of the housing and being closed, respectively by means of a cover to form a channel cross-section that is closed on all sides.
Abstract:
A liquid filter including a filter housing, a ring filter insert and a cover. The housing bottom contains an outlet for emptying the housing when the filter insert is removed. The filter insert includes a filter material body surrounded by front panels. A blocking element for the outlet is arranged on one front panel, and positioning elements are provided on the filter insert and on the housing. The positioning elements include an inclined plane and an engaging radially protruding nose. The inclined plane is arranged on one and the nose is arranged on the other of the filter housing part and the ring filter insert. When the ring filter insert is rotated relative to the filter housing, the inclined plane and the nose are moved in relation to each other such that they slide along each other and engage the blocking element with the outlet.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a fluid filter including a filter socket with a mounting flange that can, in a sealing manner, be connected to a companion flange on an associated apparatus, wherein at least one fluid duct for supplying fluid to be filtered and one fluid duct for discharging filtered fluid extends through the flange connection, wherein, in the filter socket, at least one section of at least one fluid duct can be closed off against the companion flange by means of a sealing plate designed with at least one through opening that is sealed against the companion flange and is arranged flush with an apparatus-side fluid duct. Therein, it is provided that the surface area of the sealing plate, as seen on the plane of the flange connection, is smaller than the surface area of the mounting flange and that the sealing plate is inserted in the filter socket in a sealing manner and forms a part of the filter socket.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a liquid filter (1) comprising a filter base (10) provided with a connection flange (21) that can be connected in a sealing manner to a counter-flange (41) arranged on an associated device (4). At least one liquid channel (13, 14) extends through the flange connection (2) for respectively supplying liquid to be filtered and carrying away filtered liquid. At least one section (24) of at least one liquid channel (14) can be closed in the filter base (10) in the direction of the counterflange (41) by means of a sealing plate (3) that is formed with at least one through opening (34) which is sealed in relation to the counterflange (41) and is aligned with a liquid channel (44) on the device side. According to the invention, in the plane (20) of the flange connection (2), the surface of the scaling plate (3) is smaller than the surface of the connection flange (21), and the sealing plate (3) is inserted into the filter base (10) in a sealing manner, forming part of the same (10).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a fluid filter, such as an oil filter for a combustion engine. The inventive filter comprises an exchangeable filter inset which is provided with a ring-shaped cross-section that encompasses an inner chamber. The outlet for the purified fluid is joined to the inner chamber. The inventive filter also comprises a discharge line for emptying the filter during a filter change. A central discharge dome is provided which extends into the inner chamber. Said dome, together with the filter inset is mounted in such a way as to be axially displaced between a first closing position which closes the discharge line and a second release position which releases the discharge line. According to the invention, the discharge dome is fixed to the housing and is pushed into the release position thereof when said dome is impinged upon with a spring. The dome can be moved into the closing position thereof against the action of the spring and by means of the filter inset which is inserted into the filter housing.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a fluid filter, such as an oil filter for an internal combustion engine, comprising a filter housing which can be closed by a screw lid, a filter element and a central, approximately tubular component which projects into the interior of the filter, whereby the central component has bearing surfaces which are used to fix said component into the filter, so that it cannot rotate. The central component and the filter housing have projections and corresponding undercuts which interact with the projections, in order to fix the central component using a detent or snap-fit connection. The invention is characterized in that the lid, the filter element and the central component can be connected to form a joint installation assembly which is easy to handle, whereby the central component is mounted so that it can be rotated about its longitudinal axis in relation to the lid and that guide elements are provided in the filter housing which interact with the bearing surfaces, in such a way that the latter form of rotational lock for the central component during the mounting of the installation assembly, before the central component is fixed by the detent or snap-fit connection, thus allowing said connection to take place.
