The support stem prevents filtering element from getting deformed to the extent that would render it unfunctional.One of the possible applications of the filter presented herein is filtering high-pressure diesel fuel between high-pressure pump and injectors.An important feature of this liquid filter is that it is not integrated into other standard parts of fuel system, but added to fuel system as separate component that can be easily replaced without replacing other parts of the system.To improve durability and ensure reusability of filtering element of liquid filter this element is made of metal or other material possessing similar properties.

The water separator is arranged in the filter assembly and includes a filter element that is provided with a hydrophobic medium through which fuel/lubricant can pass through. The filter assembly also includes a water separator positioned downstream from the filter element. During the operation of the filter assembly, the water separator causes the water in the fuel to be separated and accumulate on the hydrophobic surface of the water separator and, due to the gravity, allows the water to flow downwards along the surface of the water separator into a water collection/sedimentation chamber where it can be evacuated from the filter through one or more passageways.

A polymer melt filter plate assembly which comprises (a) a support plate comprising a plurality of threaded holes; (b) at least one filter which is screwed into at least one of the threaded holes via the screw thread on the outside surface of the first end portion of the filter support; (c) a tie rod with (i) a first end extending through a hole in a cone insert and a cap located at the second end of the filter support, and (ii) a second end extending through a threaded hole in the support plate; and (d) a cross bar which is attached to the second end of the tie rod for holding the support plate inside a shaft of an apparatus for filtering a polymer melt.

摘要： A liquid filter having a housing and a hollow insert. The housing has a dirty liquid feed, a clean liquid outlet and a drainage channel, and is closed by a detachable cover. In the channel, a valve is arranged, having a valve body axially displaceable between a closed and an open position. The cover on the housing presses the valve body into the closed position. When the cover is removed from the housing, the valve body is carried to its open position and then is detachable from the cover or insert and is retainable in its open position by a spring holding element. The holding element automatically expands into the opening position by spring force and engages a spring element restraint holding the valve body in its open position. A force contracts the spring element, displacing the valve body in the closing direction, releasing engagement with the spring restraint.
