摘要： An engine balancer includes a pair of balancer shafts and a balancer housing for housing the balancer shafts, and is placed in an oil pan at the bottom of an engine. The balancer housing includes a pair of front and rear bearing walls respectively supporting the balancer shafts with rolling bearings interposed therebetween. The bearing walls of the balancer housing are attached to bearing walls for a crankshaft. The housing body has an aperture at the top thereof. The aperture of the housing body is covered with a plate-shaped cover member thinner than a member forming the housing body.

摘要： A hot dip coating apparatus enables stable and continuous production of a coated steel strip having a high degree of uniformity of the coating quality over the breadth of the steel strip and clean coated surfaces free of deposition of dross. The hot dip coating apparatus has a bottom slit through which a steel strip to be coated is introduced and pulled upward through the coating tank, and an electromagnetic sealing device which applies a magnetic field to the molten metal in the coating tank so as to hold the molten metal inside the tank. The coating tank is provided at its top with an overflow dam for allowing the molten mental to overflow out of the coating tank. The apparatus also has a molten metal supply system which produces a circulating flow of the molten metal through the coating tank. The molten metal supply system has molten metal buffers which communicate with a molten metal supply passage and from which the molten metal is discharged towards the steel strip.

摘要： An improved release agent applicator for use with a copying machine having a fixing device for pressure fusing a toner image to copy paper as the paper is passing between a fixing roll and a pressure roll. The fixing roll has in contact therewith a porous sheet or tube of poly(ethylene tetrafluoride) resin through which the release agent is applied to the fixing roll. The porous sheet or tube is installed on a support in such a manner that part of the sheet or tube projects from an opening of the support. The sheet or tube is provided with a backup which prevents the deformation of the sheet or tube. The backup is provided behind the sheet or tube and extends in the direction of rotation of the fixing roll.

摘要： An apparatus and a method for applying a releasing agent to a fixation roller so that toners are not undesirably built up on the rollers and unwanted spots on a document being reproduced are avoided. The releasing agent includes a polypropylene powder dispersed in silicone oil wherein the powder and oil are heated to raise the powder to a molten state and the powder and oil are then cooled forming fine particles of polypropylene powder that do not tend to float on the top of the silicone oil.
