The inner race, outer race and the rolling element thus formed is then subjected to hardening, tempering and polishing. Further, a chromium oxide layer (Cr2O3) having a thickness of 5 nm to 300 nm is formed on a race track surface of at least one of the inner race, the outer race and the rolling element.
