    Abstract: A side rearview mirror control system for a vehicle that automatically changes a rear viewing angle of a side rearview mirror. The control system receives various vehicle inputs to determine if and when a vehicle operator will turn the vehicle, make a lane change, merge into a lane of traffic, etc. The system pivots the mirror to eliminate a potential blind spot during these conditions. In one embodiment, the rear view mirror control system receives input signals from a vehicle hand-wheel angle sensor, a vehicle yaw rate sensor, a vehicle speed sensor, a turn signal indicator, a global positioning system (GPS) receiver and map information to determine whether the vehicle is turning or will be turning.

    Abstract: An apparatus for monitoring asthmatic conditions takes the form of a data logger for attaching to a spacer. The spacer has a chamber with an input end and an output end and defining an interior space wherein the input end receives a medication discharge from a discharge orifice of a canister of medication into the interior space and wherein the medication can be withdrawn from the interior space by inhalation by a patient from the output end. The data logger is mounted to the spacer and may include such sensors as pressure transducers and accelerometers. The sensors may be arranged to measure various aspects of the environment of the spacer, such as a pressure change induced by the inhalation of the medicine from the chamber. A memory may also be included for recording the measurements for later transfer to another device for processing and analysis.

    Abstract: A complex type cleaner comprises: a body having either a dust collecting container for storing dust and foreign materials or a water collecting container for storing contaminated water; a fan motor installed at the body and generating a suction force to suck dust or water; a suction head arranged at a lower side of the body, for sucking dust at the time of performing a vacuum-cleaning; and a suction nozzle installed at the suction head, for sucking contaminated water at the time of performing a water cleaning, wherein the water collecting container is composed of: a container mounted at the body and having a space for storing water; a cover mounted at an upper surface of the container and having an outlet for exhausting air inside the container; a division plate for dividing inside of the container into a first chamber and a second chamber, for introducing water stored in the second chamber to the first chamber when the water inside the second chamber is more than a certain level; and a water exhaustion preventing unit arranged at the first chamber, for preventing water stored in the container from being exhausted through the outlet. According to this, a mis-operation of the floater due to sloshing of the water stored in the container during a cleaning operation can be prevented.
