Abstract:
A communication system includes an image pickup device and an information processing apparatus. The image pickup device is connectable to a printer, and the information processing apparatus is connectable to a server device. The image pickup device includes an acquiring unit that acquires printer information indicating information on the printer if the image pickup device is connected to the printer and a transmitting unit that transmits the printer information acquired by the acquiring unit to the information processing apparatus if the image pickup device is connected to the information processing apparatus. The information processing apparatus also includes a display control unit that displays, on a display unit, an indication that the printer indicated by the printer information can be registered with the server device, based upon the printer information transmitted from the transmitting unit.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a technique which can display many images in such a manner that these images are easily compared and allow a user to easily select a desired image from among the images. During successively switching and displaying a plurality of images onto a display area, an image processing apparatus adds and displays a new image display area when an instruction to maintain display of a first image is issued, and maintains the display of the first image on the new image display area. Further, when an instruction to cancel maintaining of the display of the first image is issued, the newly added image display area is hidden or removed.
Abstract:
It is an object to provide a mechanism such that when a print service is received via the Internet, print orders are stocked into a center server and the user collectively requests the printing. There is provided means constructed in a manner such that when the print order is transmitted to a center server 120, in a client 100, an uploading instruction for allowing the print order to be transmitted to the center server 120 and managed without performing a printing process is inputted, the print order is uploaded to the center server 120 via the Internet, and thereafter, a print ordering request of one or more print orders which were designated by the user among the uploaded print orders and should be print-ordered is transmitted to the center server.
Abstract:
In a system which receives a print service via the Internet, a client is enabled to recognize the updating of printers provided for a shop which can receive the print service without installing a new printer driver for each printer, thereby enabling it to be used for printing. In a client 100, the above object is accomplished by providing means for forming print data by using a printer driver 102 which can set print set information corresponding to a plurality of printers on the basis of a printer information description file 103, forming a print order on the basis of the formed print data and the print set information set by the printer driver, promoting activation of a Web browser 108, and requesting an access to a center server 120 which can communicate via the Internet.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an editing of a digital document containing an image, a text, a pattern and the like on pages constituting the digital document. In response to an operation for deleting an image positioned in a page, such image is not added to another page but is moved to and displayed in an evacuation area provided independently from the page area. In the evacuation area, such image is displayed together with a serial number of the page in which such image was present originally. Thus the page layout is not destructed in pages other than the page of image deletion, and the user can easily confirm later the image existed in such page.
Abstract:
In an image processing apparatus, the data form of data to be processed by an application program is stored and the data forms of data are stored. Processing by the application program, and the data to be processed are represented by respective peculiar icons, and the correspondence between the icon representing the processing by the application program and the icon representing the data to be processed by the application program is displayed based on the stored-information. Thus, the user can operate with the data without being aware of the correspondence between data and an application which can process the data.
Abstract:
A numerical control system controls a plurality of axes with a plurality of channels (10, 20, 30). When a machining program for a first channel (10) is interrupted after a single block in response to a single block signal (6), the feeding of commands of a machining program for other channels (20, 30) is held. The machining programs are thereby executed in synchronism with each other. The machining processes are prevented from being unbalanced, and machining interference is avoided.
