Abstract: Techniques for implementing an infrastructure orchestration service are described. A safety plan comprising a list of resources and operations based at least in part on a deployment configuration file can be received. Upon receiving approval of the safety plan, an operation corresponding to at least one of the list of resources can be prepared to be performed. The operation can be compared to the safety plan. If the operation is part of the safety plan, the operation can be performed. If the operation is not part of the safety plan, the deployment can be halted, and a notification that the deployment is not in compliance with the safety plan can be transmitted.

Abstract: A system and method for assembling a disk for cybersecurity inspection is disclosed. The method includes receiving access to an inspectable disk, the inspectable disk including a block device and a list of partitions; mounting a first partition from the list of partitions at a first directory in response to detecting a first operating system on the first partition; detecting a boot directory on a second partition from the list of partitions in response to detecting a second operating system on the second partition; detecting a mounting partition from a configuration file of the detected boot directory; detecting a filesystem table on the mounting partition; and mounting each partition from the list of partitions based on an order indicated by the filesystem table.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for providing a number of user interfaces. A computing system may execute a declarative infrastructure provisioner. The computing system may provide declarative instructions and instruct the declarative infrastructure provision to deploy a plurality of infrastructure resources and a plurality of artifacts. One example user interface may provide a global view of the plurality of infrastructure components and artifacts. Another example user interface may provide corresponding states and change activity of the plurality of infrastructure components and artifacts. Yet another user interface may be provided that presents similarities and/or differences between a locally-generated safety plan indicating first changes for a computing environment and a remotely-generated safety plan indicating second changes for the computing environment.

Abstract: A projection system including a projection device, an adapter device and an electronic device is provided. The projection device is adapted to be connected to the adapter device. The adapter device is connected to the electronic device. The adapter device is configured to receive a control command output by the electronic device and transmit the control command to the corresponding projection device. The projection device includes a first control circuit and a second control circuit. The first control circuit is configured to perform a booting operation on the projection device according to the control command during a powered-off state of the projection device. The second control circuit is configured to perform a power-off operation or a running operation on the projection device according to the control command during a booted-up state of the projection device. An operation method of the projection system is also provided.

Abstract: Shared hoteling workspaces and computer equipment are preconfigured based on location. A location associated with a mobile device is monitored. As the mobile device moves toward a workspace, computer peripheral equipment assigned to the workspace are identified and a best known configuration is retrieved. As the mobile device continues moving toward the workspace, the mobile device installs the best known configuration. Location-based policies and configuration events are defined and executed to ensure the best known configuration is timely installed. When the mobile device arrives at the workspace, the mobile device has been automatically configured to the computer peripheral equipment at the workspace. The mobile device is thus preconfigured, perhaps just in time, for immediate productivity and optimum user experience. Moreover, when the location of the mobile device no longer matches the workspace, the best known configuration may be automatically deleted to conserve memory.

Abstract: A multi-initialization implementation DXE driver loading system includes a chassis housing an initialization subsystem coupled to a memory system and a storage system. The storage system stores first DXE driver(s) required for a first initialization implementation but not a second initialization implementation and each including a dummy protocol identifier identifying a dummy protocol in its dependency section, and second DXE driver(s) required for both the first and second initialization implementations and each not including the dummy protocol identifier in its dependency section. If the second initialization implementation is enabled, the initialization subsystem does not provide the dummy protocol in the memory system, which prevents it from providing the first DXE driver(s) in the memory system due to a dependency requirement provided by the dummy protocol identifier in their dependency sections not being satisfied, while providing the second DXE driver(s) in the memory system for use in performing an initialization process.

Abstract: A computer system has a plurality of operating systems, each operating system including a GPU driver; a graphics processing unit (GPU) including GPU firmware for controlling the execution of tasks at the graphics processing unit and, for each operating system: a firmware state register modifiable by the GPU firmware and indicating whether the GPU firmware is online; and an OS state register modifiable by the GPU driver of the respective operating system and indicating whether the GPU driver is online; and a memory management unit configured to mediate access to the registers of the GPU such that each operating system can access its respective registers but not those of other operating systems; wherein: one of the GPU drivers at the plurality of operating systems is a host GPU driver configured to initialise the GPU and bring the GPU firmware online; each GPU driver is configured to submit tasks for processing at the GPU only if its respective firmware state register indicates that the GPU firmware is online; and the GPU is configured to process tasks for an operating system if the respective OS state register of that operating system indicates that the GPU driver is online.
