    摘要: An image reading apparatus for reading an image pattern of a detecting object comprises a detecting surface on which a detecting object is placed, a sensor array having a plurality of sensors arranged to read an image pattern of the detecting object placed on the detecting surface, a first detection electrode, provided on at least an upper portion of the sensor array, having the detecting surface; a second detection electrode provided to be electrically insulated and spaced from the first detection electrode; a counter electrode provided to be opposite to the first detection electrode through an interlayer insulating film; signal voltage applying circuit which applies a signal voltage having a first signal waveform that varies periodically to the counter electrode to excite a second signal waveform to the first detection electrode through the interlayer insulating film, and contact detector which determines whether the detecting object brought into contact with the detecting surface is a specific detecting object based on a third signal waveform excited to the second detection electrode according to contact of the detecting object with both the first detection electrode and the second electrode wherein a reading operation of the image pattern of the detecting object is performed based on the determination result by the contact detector.

    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device. An optical film having negative uniaxial double refractive index ellipsoids is arranged below a semi-transmitting liquid crystal display cell and, thereafter, a λ/4 phase difference plate, a λ/2 phase difference plate and a polarizer are arranged. The orientation axis direction of the optical film having negative uniaxial double refractive index ellipsoids is substantially equal to the direction which is rotated by 90° in the clockwise direction from a resultant vector of the orientation axis direction of the upper orientation film and the orientation axis direction of the lower orientation film of the liquid crystal display cell. Further, phase lagging axis of the upper and lower λ/4 phase difference plate is set substantially equal to the orientation axis direction of the optical film having negative uniaxial double refractive index ellipsoids.

    摘要: The present invention provides a liquid crystal display device. An optical film having negative uniaxial double refractive index ellipsoids is arranged below a semi-transmitting liquid crystal display cell and, thereafter, a λ/4 phase difference plate, a λ/2 phase difference plate and a polarizer are arranged.     摘要: In a gain-controlled amplifier, first, second and third transistors are provided, and a signal at one of input and output terminals is compared with a threshold voltage. When the compared signal is lower than the threshold, the second and third transistors are respectively turned into conducting and non-conducting states, and when the compared signal is higher than the threshold, the situation is in reverse. When the third transistor is non-conducting, the first and second transistors are configured to form a cascode amplifier between the input and output terminals to produce a low-noise, high-gain output signal. When the second transistor is non-conducting, the first and third transistors are configured so that the third transistor forms a base-grounded amplifier between the input and output terminals and the first transistor forms a diode for supplying a DC bias current to the third transistor to produce a low-distortion, low-gain output signal.

    摘要: A cassette holder 2, with a locking hook 2a and a fish hook 2c beneath a lower face of the holder 2 and having a loaded cassette 1 therein, is pressed downward by pushing a top plate 4 and moved toward a chassis frame 6. A mis-insertion-proof panel 11 disposed on a back plate 7 by a supporting shaft is rotated on a rotation supporting shaft 14 by sliding along the lower face of the holder 2. When the cassette holder 2 reaches to a lower end position, the panel swings into a space between a rear face of the cassette 1 and the back plate 7, at the same time, the locking hook 2a is engaged with the sliding lock shaft (not shown), thereby completing a cassette loading. Contrary to the downward movement, in an upward movement of the holder 2 until its upper end position, the mis-insertion-proof panel 11 rotates on the rotation supporting shaft 14, and engaging shafts 12 provided on an edge of the panel 11 slides along the lower face of the holder 2 until the shafts 12 are engaged with the hook 2c. The hook terminal receiving the shaft 12 has a boss standing at a right angle with a locus of the shaft 12, which shapes the hook 2c into a "J" letter, the panel 11 thus prevents the cassette 1 from being inserted into the mechanism by mistake.
