    摘要: The present invention relates to a system and method for providing advertisement at a set top box in connection with processing of video-on-demand (VOD) contents. The system for providing advertisement at a set top box in connection with VOD contents, comprises: a VOD server for providing VOD contents; an advertisement server for providing advertisement data; and a set top box for processing the VOD contents from the VOD server and the advertisement data from the advertisement server to display the VOD contents and the advertisement data on a user's television, wherein the set top box includes: an input/output unit for performing input and output of data transmitted to the set top box; a VOD management application for receiving and processing information of VOD contents orderable for a user, a user interface for expressing the information and an order of the user; a cache memory for buffering the ordered VOD contents; a storage for storing the advertisement data from the advertisement server; an advertisement-data management application for managing the advertisement data; and a buffering monitoring scheduler for monitoring status of buffering VOD contents at the cache memory and controlling the advertisement management application to process the advertisement data during the buffering based on the monitoring result. By implementing the present invention, the advertisement data can be efficiently utilized through a set top box in connection with display of VOD contents.

More particularly, the present invention relates to a method of synthesizing highly dispersed supported platinum catalyst comprising:dissolving a reducing agent in a solvent to produce a solution, dissolving a platinum chloride to the same solvent; adding a carbon support and platinum in a predetermined ratio to the above mixed solution, agitating the mixture, performing ultrasonic treatment, and performing heat treatment; and adding a HCl solution, agitating the mixture, separating the precipitates via filtration to produce a catalyst, and then washing the catalyst with distilled water, thereby obtaining an active highly dispersed supported platinum catalyst which has excellent electric charge activity, uniformly-sized platinum particles and relatively high specific surface area.

    摘要: A piezo ceramic transformer working at a full wave length mode, &lgr;-mode, in accordance with the present invention has a driving region divided into two sections in the center and two generating regions at the end regions of a thin rectangular bar. Two input sections are built into multi-layered structure with multiple internal-electrodes and poled along the thickness direction with polarization in the neighboring layers opposite to each other. Alternating internal electrodes are connected in parallel through two external electrodes in each input section. Polarization in the same layer of two input sections are disposed in the same direction, and two external electrodes of two input sections in the same side of driving region are connected 180 degree out of phase to each other to a driving circuit. Two CCFLs are connected directly to two output electrodes at the end of the piezo ceramic transformer, respectively. Polarization in two output sections is along the length of the piezo ceramic plate, but the respective direction is in opposite way. Alternatively, polarization in the same layer of the two input sections are disposed in opposite direction, and two external electrodes of two input sections in the same side are connected in phase to each other to a driving circuit.
