A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for automatically saving and presenting a state of a communication session are presented. The communication session may be established between a client device of a user and an application server of a content publisher. Session data representative of a first state of the communication session may be stored in response to user input. The method may further include generating and presenting an interface that includes a first selectable element that, allows a user to return to the first state of the communication session. The method further includes grouping the first selectable element with a second selectable element corresponding a second state of the communication session and assigning a label to the grouping.

In an example embodiment, a system for evaluating published content is provided. The system includes at least one processor and a plurality of components including instructions executable by the at least one processor. The components include a reporting component and an evaluation component. The reporting component is to receive a communication from one of a plurality of users of a network-based system, the communication identifying content accessible via the network-based system as objectionable. An evaluation component is to evaluate the identified content based on a reputation value of the one of the plurality of users to determine an action to take with respect to the identified content. The reputation value is based at least in part on a history of objectionable content reporting by the one of the plurality of users.

Various embodiments provide a computer-implemented system and method providing a user interface framework for viewing large scale graphs. An example embodiment includes obtaining graph data including information related to a plurality of nodes, the plurality of nodes corresponding to search queries performed on a particular host site; constructing a plurality of sub-graphs, the sub-graphs being clusters of search results that are formed based on an amount of overlap among the search results produced from the search queries; rendering the graph by displaying each of the plurality of nodes at a respective absolute position within the graph and generating a plurality of tiles representing images of the plurality of sub-graphs; and displaying a sub-graph image corresponding to a selected position and zoom level.

Query suggestions are provided using a query log including a number of user sessions that comprise training data. The training data includes a sequence of a plurality of sets of queries, some of the sets of queries including query transitions followed by a purchase related event. From a cleaned and normalized query log stationary scores and transition scores of at least some of the plurality of sets are generated. A set of query suggestions is built and similarity scores are computed for at least some of the set of query suggestions to determine whether individual ones of the at least some of the set of query suggestions meet a predetermined assurance level. Those that meet the assurance level are included as elements of the set of query suggestions. The set of query suggestions is mixed and ranked according to a user behavior that is sought to be influenced.

Electronic content that has a tactile dimension when presented on a tactile-enabled computing device may be referred to as tactile-enabled content. A tactile-enabled device is a device that is capable of presenting tactile-enabled content in a manner that permits a user to experience tactile quality of electronic content. In one example embodiment, a system is provided for generating content that has a tactile dimension when presented on a tactile-enabled device.

An apparatus and method to facilitate finding recommendations for a query image are disclosed herein. A color histogram is determined corresponding to the query image. Determining at least one of a visual pattern included in the query image, a dominant color of the query image, or an orientation histogram corresponding to the query image. Performing comparison of a first image attribute of the query image to a second image attribute of an inventory image corresponding to an inventory item, wherein the first image attribute used in the comparison is selected from among the color histogram, the dominant color, and the orientation histogram. The selection of the first image attribute is based on a confidence score associated with the visual pattern, the dominant color, or a directionality present in the query image.

A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for automatically saving and presenting a state of a communication session are presented. The communication session may be established between a client device of a user and an application server of a content publisher. In some embodiments, the method may include determining that the communication session includes a typical process flow of the user, and identifying an operation that is likely to be repeated during the communication session based on the typical process flow. Session data representative of a state of the communication session may then be stored in response to identifying the operation that is likely to be repeated. The method may further include generating and presenting an interface that includes a visual representation of the session data, and allows a user to return to the saved state of the communication session.

Techniques for topic extraction and opinion mining are described. For example, a machine selects a document that is pertinent to a topic based on searching a plurality of documents. The machine identifies an identifier of a party to a transaction being referenced in the document, and identifies the transaction conducted by the party to the transaction based on the document. The machine determines a rating of the transaction based on the document. The determining of the rating of the transaction includes identifying, from a plurality of polarity words included in the document, a dominant polarity word based on a syntactic distance between the dominant polarity word and the topic in a syntactic tree. The machine determines a sentiment of the document based on the transaction, and the rating of the transaction.

Abstract:
A method, system, and article of manufacture for recommending items for a room. An image of a room is received, a box image is fitted to the image of the room. Information is extracted from the fitted box image and is used for recommending items for the room. The image is a color image and extracting information is done by extracting color histograms from the fitted box image. The color histograms are used to determine items that match the color scheme of the room, the lighting of the room, and/or the decorating style of the room.
