    Abstract: Parts of a first coupling and a second coupling that protrude from manifold blocks each have the shape of an elongated tube. When the first coupling and the second coupling are viewed in the axial direction, the traverse direction of the first coupling and the second coupling agree with the arrangement direction of manifold blocks. A part of the tube insertion hole is a small diameter hole, which is a stadium-shaped hole. When the first coupling and the second coupling are viewed in the axial direction, the traverse direction of the small diameter hole agrees with the traverse direction of the first coupling and the second coupling.

    Abstract: A blister packaging machine manufactures a blister pack including a pocket portion formed in a container film of a belt-like shape and a cover film that closes the pocket portion. The blister packaging machine includes: a conveyor that conveys the container film; a preheater that preheats the container film conveyed by the conveyor; a pocket portion former that forms the pocket portion in the container film softened by the preheater; and a support belt that moves in synchronism with the container film conveyed by the conveyor while supporting a part of the container film other than the pocket portion or a part of the container film other than an area where the pocket portion is to be formed, in at least a location from the preheater to a position downstream of the pocket portion former.

    Abstract: In a non-sealed butterfly valve, a butterfly valve element includes a downstream end face that faces a downstream side of a flow passage during valve closing and a maximum outer diameter portion that makes a gap with a minimum distance. The butterfly valve element includes a first chamfered portion that reduces the diameter of the butterfly valve element from the maximum outer diameter portion to the downstream end face over the entire circumference. The first chamfered portion has a taper angle of 5° or less relative to the thickness direction of the butterfly valve element. The first chamfered portion and the downstream end face intersect each other at a ridge line that falls within an imaginary circle that is centered on the central axis of the butterfly valve element and passes the maximum outer diameter portion.

    Abstract: A fluid control valve includes a multi-stage piston actuator unit with first piston and second pistons coaxially and slidably arranged therein and a valve unit provided with an inlet port for inflow of a control fluid and an outlet port for outflow of the control fluid. The first and second pistons are slidable in a sliding direction perpendicular to an imaginary line connecting the center of the inlet port and the center of the outlet port. The multi-stage piston actuator unit has a smaller thickness in a direction perpendicular to the imaginary line and perpendicular to the sliding direction than the thickness of the valve unit in the direction perpendicular to the imaginary line and perpendicular to the sliding direction. The first and second pistons have either an elliptic or oval cross-section taken perpendicular to the sliding direction, the cross-section having a long axis parallel to the imaginary line.

    Abstract: A manufacturing device is used for manufacturing a package including a resin sheet and a predetermined work wrapped with the resin sheet. The manufacturing device includes: a sealing unit that thermally welds overlapping parts of the sheet; and an inspection device that inspects a sealing quality of the sealed portion thermally welded by the sealing unit. The sealing unit makes, by the thermal welding, a thickness of the sealed portion after the thermal welding smaller than a total thickness of the overlapping parts prior to the thermal welding. The inspection device obtains thickness information on the thickness of the sealed portion and determines the sealing quality of the sealed portion based on the thickness information.

Before the inspection is performed, the controller grasps disturbance data that is one of either spectral data of a predetermined content placed in the pocket portion and attributed to ambient light, or approximate spectral data approximate to the spectral data of the predetermined content attributed to the ambient light, and corrects either spectral data of the content as an inspection object obtained based on the spectroscopic image data acquired by the imaging device, or a reference value used for determining the spectral data of the content as the inspection object.
