Abstract: An electrochemical device disclosed includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a lithium ion conductive electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material contains particles of a conductive polymer to and from which anions are reversibly dopable and de-dopable. A ratio V1/V0 of a volume V1 of pores with a pore size of 0.2 μm or less to a volume V0 of all pores is 0.40 or more when a pore distribution of the positive electrode is measured using a mercury porosimeter.

Abstract: A solid electrolytic capacitor that includes an anode body having a porous part on surface thereof and a manufacturing method thereof including a step (i) of forming a first solid electrolyte layer on a dielectric layer and a step (ii) of forming a second solid electrolyte layer on the first solid electrolyte layer. The first and second solid electrolyte layers contain first and second conductive polymers, respectively. The step (i) includes a step (i-a) of supplying a reaction solution containing a monomer and a silane compound to the surface of the dielectric layer, and a step (i-b) of forming the first solid electrolyte layer by polymerizing the monomer in the supplied reaction solution to form the first conductive polymer. The monomer contains a compound represented by the following formula (I) (in the formula (I), R represents an alkyl group whose carbon number is within a range of 1 to 10).

Abstract: In a bidirectional switch of a power converter, a first terminal thereof is connected to a connection node between a first switching element and a second switching element. A resonant capacitor is connected between the first terminal of the bidirectional switch and a second DC terminal. A resonant inductor is connected to a second terminal of the bidirectional switch. A regenerative element is connected between the resonant inductor and the second DC terminal. A first control unit controls the first switching element and the second switching element. A second control unit controls the bidirectional switch. A limiter limits the absolute value of a voltage variation rate of a voltage applied between the first and second terminals of the bidirectional switch to a threshold value or less.

Abstract: An interrupter system includes a first coil and an interrupter electrically connected to the first coil. The interrupter includes: a first terminal; a second terminal electrically connected to the first terminal; a third terminal electrically separated from the first terminal and the second terminal; a heat generating element electrically connected to the third terminal; and an explosive configured to be ignited by the heat generating element to produce a gas for interrupting an electrical connection between the first terminal and the second terminal. The first coil is electrically connected to the heat generating element via the third terminal. Moreover, the first coil is configured to, when an abnormal current flows between the first terminal and the second terminal, generate an electric power for igniting the explosive from the abnormal current.

Abstract: An electronic mirror device includes: a liquid crystal panel that displays an image; a linearly reflective polarizing layer that transmits a polarization component of incident light in a first direction and reflects a polarization component of the incident light in a second direction different from the first direction; a glass that transmits the incident light; and a PET film bonded to the glass. The linearly reflective polarizing layer is disposed between the liquid crystal panel and the PET film. The PET film contains polyethylene terephthalate and has a retardation value in a range of 2000 nm or more and 4000 nm or less. An angle between a slow axis of the PET film and a polarization reflection axis of the linearly reflective polarizing layer is 30 degrees or more and 60 degrees or less.
