Abstract: A disclosed power storage device includes a power storage element, a case with a bottomed cylindrical shape having an opening at one end and housing the power storage element, and a sealing member for sealing the opening. The case has, in a vicinity of the opening, a first pressing portion pressing a side surface of the sealing member and protruding inward of the case, and a gas vent portion disposed nearer to the one end of the case than an apex which is the most protruded point of the first pressing portion. This can provide a power storage device including an explosion-proof mechanism that has high operational reliability and does not impair airtightness.

Abstract: A current collector plate for a power storage device welded to an end face of a power storage element included in a power storage device. The current collector plate includes a center region, an outer peripheral region, and a bridge portion that connects the center and outer peripheral regions. The outer peripheral region includes a plurality of first weld portions arranged along a radial direction of the end face and welded to the end face. The center region includes a second weld portion that is welded to a conductive member different from the power storage element. A plurality of first through holes in a slit shape are formed to surround the center region such that each of the plurality of first through holes is located between a corresponding one of the plurality of first weld portions and the second weld portion.

Abstract: An electrochemical device disclosed includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a lithium ion conductive electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material. The positive electrode active material contains particles of a conductive polymer to and from which anions are reversibly dopable and de-dopable. A ratio V1/V0 of a volume V1 of pores with a pore size of 0.2 μm or less to a volume V0 of all pores is 0.40 or more when a pore distribution of the positive electrode is measured using a mercury porosimeter.

Abstract: An electrochemical device includes a positive electrode having a positive electrode material layer containing a conductive polymer doped with a first anion and a second anion, a negative electrode having a negative electrode material layer storing and releasing lithium ions, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution having lithium ionic conductivity. The second anion is more easily dedoped from the conductive polymer than the first anion. At an end period of charge of the electrochemical device, a number of moles M1 of the first anion and a number of moles M2 of the second anion respectively doped in the conductive polymer satisfy a relationship of M1 M4.

Abstract: According to the present invention, an electrochemical device includes: a positive electrode containing, as a positive electrode active material, a conductive polymer that is to be doped and dedoped with anions, a negative electrode containing a negative electrode active material that occludes and releases lithium ions, and an electrolytic solution containing anions and lithium ions. In a charged state of the electrochemical device, an amount A (mol) of anions that are doped into the conductive polymer and are contained in the positive electrode and an amount B (mol) of the anions contained in the electrolytic solution satisfy a relational expression: 1.1≤B/A≤2.8.
