Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a method and device of distributing visual representation of changes to an application. The method includes: determining one or more pages in the application which have changed between a first state of the application at a first time and second state of the application at a second time; rendering the one or more pages which have changed at the first state of the application; rendering the one or more pages which have changed at the second state of the application; and sending a notification including a visual differential of one or more rendered pages of the application which have changed between the first state of the application and the second state of the application.
Abstract:
A first wireless access network node sets a data rate for communication of data between a second wireless access network node and a user equipment (UE) that is concurrently connected to the first wireless access network node and the second wireless access network node. The first wireless access network node sends information relating to the data rate to the second wireless access network node for use by the second wireless access network node in controlling data communication between the second wireless access network node and the UE.
Abstract:
A communication device, method and system are provided for presentation of threaded messages. At least two branches of a single thread of messages are identified, and displayed in a branch listing on a device in place of a message listing. Profile properties are identified for one or more of the branches according to characteristics of the messages of comprised in those branches. The branch listing displayed on the device can be sorted according to profile properties. A listing of messages for each of the branches thus listed can be displayed in turn. The profile properties may be associated with conditions relating to characteristics of the branches themselves.
Abstract:
A device is described. The device comprises a processor configured to communicate with a display and detect a user selection indicative of a message items view. The processor, in response to the detected user selection, is further configured to obtain message data items via a message application executable on the device; arrange the message data items in a two-dimensional scheme; generate display data of the two-dimensional scheme of message data items for display; and output the generated data to the display. A method for a device is also described.
Abstract:
A device is described. The device comprises: a display configured to display first application data; a processor configured to communicate with a further device. The processor is further configured to: detect an event associated with the further device and generate, in response to the detected event, first application data pertaining to a display of second application data associated with applications executable on the further device; and output the first application data to the display. A system and method are also described.
Abstract:
Systems and apparatuses involve implementing methods that may include transmitting a medium access control (MAC) message to a base station, the medium access control message including control information associated with at least one inter-device session between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. The medium access control message may include a set of one or more MAC message elements (MEs), each MAC ME comprising control information associated with at least one inter-device session. At least one MAC ME in the set of MAC MEs may identify an inter-device session, the session being associated with communications between the first UE and the second UE.

Abstract:
A system and method are provided for automatic correction of numeric input, such as telephone numbers. The communications device configured to perform automatic correction can receive a numeric input string indicating a numerical address with which to initiate a communication, and compare the numeric input string to a database of known valid numerical addresses. Then, upon determining that the numeric input string has no match within the database of known valid numerical addresses, the communications device can identify a known valid numerical address that is within a threshold similarity to the numeric input string, and correct the numeric input string. The communications device can initiate communication using the corrected numeric input string. Also set forth herein are a system and method for automatic completion of partially entered numerical addresses.
Abstract:
A mobile device has a user interface comprising a plurality of keys arranged in a plurality of groups. A processor is operatively coupled to the user input device to receive user input from the user input device and to identify which group of keys has received the user input. A display is operatively coupled to the processor for displaying characters corresponding to the keys of the group in response to the user input. The keys may have capacitive touch sensors with haptic feedback.
Abstract:
Mobile devices are able to determine their location based radio transmitters that are visible at the device to provide geographic location services. A knowledge of the location of the transmitters is required for the mobile device to determine a location estimate, however this can be difficult in network environments where the transmitters are temporary and their locations are not identified in location databases. Locations of temporary transmitters can be provided to mobile devices in order to augment the available location data used in determining the mobile device location. 3rd parties can provide temporal location data on transmitters that are set up for short period of time, as well as better control the distribution of the location data.
Abstract:
According to one aspect, an electronic device that includes a vibrating element adapted to vibrate the electronic device, at least one sensor operable to detect the presence of an audible higher-order harmonic above a fundamental frequency when the vibrating element is active. The device also includes a processor operable to adjust the vibrating element to reduce the audible higher-order harmonic when the audible higher-order harmonic is detected.
