    摘要: The disclosure provides a communication device including a ground plane, an antenna and an extended grounding structure. The ground plane has a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The antenna is disposed at the first side and has a first feeding end. The extended grounding structure is disposed at the second side and includes a connection portion and a symmetrical structure. The symmetrical structure is electrically connected to the ground plane via the connection portion, wherein the symmetrical structure is symmetrical along a symmetry axis, and an extension line of the symmetry axis passes through the first side and the second side. The disclosure can effectively prevent antenna efficiency from being degraded due to an insufficient size of the ground plane, so as to significantly enhance communication quality.

    摘要: A downlink orthogonal variable spreading factor (OVSF) code assignment method is provided. It is determined whether a spreading factor required by a service request is greater than a remaining capacity of assignable spreading factors of a code tree. If not, the code tree is searched from a root until a node of a layer corresponding to the required spreading factor is reached and thus defined as a first node. During the searching, when a searched node is unassigned, the searching continues leftward in a lower layer; and when the searched node is in an assigned state, the searching continues rightward in a same layer of the searched node. It is determined, from the first node, whether any assignable code is available in the layer corresponding to the required spreading factor. If available, an assignable code is assigned to a communication service corresponding to the service request.

    摘要: A radio signal transmission method is used in a radio signal transmission system having a core network (CN), at least one base station and at least one user equipment (UE). After the UE initiates a circuit switch (CS) call, the base station determines whether to activate CS off-loading. If to activate CS off-loading, the base station determines whether identification (ID) codes of all call parties reside on the same base station or on the same group of base stations of the system. If yes, the base station determines whether to off-load only the user-plane data. If yes, the CN controls the signaling and the user-plane data is directly forwarded to another call party; otherwise, the base station processes a signaling and the user-plane data is directly forwarded to another call party via the base station.

    摘要: A power control method performing a power control operation between a radio network controller and a node B is provided. The method includes steps of: calculating a packet error rate threshold and a base received packet count according to a target block error rate (BLER) and a precision of the target BLER; obtaining an accumulated received packet count and an accumulated packet error count; increasing a target signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) of the node B when the accumulated packet error count is greater than a product of the accumulated received packet count and the packet error rate threshold; decreasing the target SIR when the accumulated received packet count is greater than or equal to a product of the base received packet count and a threshold parameter; and resetting the accumulated received packet count and the accumulated packet error count after the target SIR is adjusted.

    摘要: A transmission method of a femtocell includes the following steps. The femtocell receives and temporarily stores multiple real-time transport protocol (RTP) packets from a UE in a buffer. When the RTP packets are temporarily stored for a time period, the femtocell samples the buffer at a sampling rate to generate multiple CS data packets. The CS data packets include a current CS data packet. When there exists no previous CS data packet received from the UE, the femtocell calculates a timestamp of the current CS data packet according to a current timestamp. When there exists the previous CS data packet, the femtocell calculates the timestamp of the current CS data packet according to the timestamp and a connection frame number (CFN) of the previous CS data packet and a CFN of the current CS data packet.

If all user plane data transmitted from the UE are allowed to be transmitted via the LIPA, the base station periodically transmits a data packet to the CN to maintain signaling link.

    摘要: The disclosure provides a method and a system for transmitting wireless data stream. After a user equipment (UE) sends a packet data protocol (PDP) context activation request signaling to a base station, the base station checks whether the user equipment is allowed to activate a local Internet protocol access (LIPA) function. If the base station decides that the user equipment is allowed to activate the LIPA function, the base station informs a core network which executes authentication accordingly. The base station disconnects from the core network. The base station assigns a private IP address to the user equipment for implementing the LIPA function, so that the user equipment having the private IP address is directly connected to an external network through the base station without going through the core network.

    摘要: The invention discloses an ultra-wideband (UWB) positioning system, UWB base stations (BSs), UWB tags and the operation methods thereof. Because the present invention uses a server aware of the positions of all BSs to determine the BSs that performs distance measurement, and the server assigns different time slots to each BS that performs distance measurement, the present invention can avoid collisions between the BSs in the process of distance measurement. Furthermore, because the tag can select a specific time slot to access the UWB positioning system by monitoring the UWB signals in the air, the present invention can reduce collisions between the tags. By carefully planning the system frames and subframes of the time division multiplexing system, and sophisticatedly arranging the operation timings of the BSs and the tags, the present invention provides practical and stable UWB positioning system, BSs, and tags.
