摘要： A filter element includes a media pack and a gasket member. The gasket member includes first and second gasket regions separated by a channel. The elements are usable in a dust collector having a dirty air inlet, a clean air outlet, and a tubesheet dividing between an unfiltered and a clean air volume. An element is removably mounted and sealed within the tube sheet. At least one projection angled relative to a plane of the tube sheet extends into the channel of the gasket member. A method of servicing a dust collector includes removing a first filter element from the tube sheet in the housing, and then sealing a second filter element against the tube sheet by orienting at least one projection extending from a plane of the tube sheet into a channel defined by a gasket member secured to the second filter element. An axial force is exerted to form a seal between the gasket member and the tube sheet.

摘要： A filter element for a filter for filtration of a fluid is insertable along an insertion direction into the filter. The filter element is provided with a filter medium to be flowed through along a main flow direction. The filter element has a clean side and a raw side. A sealing surface surrounds the filter medium, wherein the sealing surface, interacting with a filter housing of the filter when the filter element is in an installed state in the filter housing, separates the clean side from the raw side. A support edge exerts a force on the sealing surface by interacting with the filter housing of the filter when the filter element is in the installed state in the filter housing. The sealing surface and the support edge are positioned at an acute angle relative to each other.

摘要： A flat filter element has a filter medium and a sealing section that seals the flat filter element relative to a filter housing. A support element section is arranged on a circumferential side of the filter medium outside of the sealing section and supports the flat filter element relative to an inner side of the filter housing, wherein the support element section projects past the filter element in at least one direction. The filter housing has a mounting opening through which the flat filter element is inserted into the interior where the flat filter element is arranged such that the inlet is separated from the outlet of the filter housing. A projection arranged on an inner side of the filter housing supports under mechanical tension the support element section of the flat filter element in a mounting position of the flat filter element in the interior.

摘要： A filtration media pack is provided having a plurality of layers of single facer media. The layer of single facer media includes a fluted sheet, a facing sheet, and a plurality of flutes extending between the fluted sheet and the facing sheet and having a flute length extending from a first face to a second face of the filtration media pack. A first portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered fluid flowing into the first portion of the plurality of flutes, and a second portion of the plurality of flutes are closed to unfiltered fluid flowing out of the second portion of the plurality of flutes so that fluid passing into one of the first face and the second face of the media pack and out the other face of the media pack passes through media to provide filtration of the fluid.

Many of the features relate to an axial seal arrangement provided on a filter cartridge. A typical filter cartridge, for use with these features, is a filter cartridge having opposite flow ends. Example media arrangements that fit this characterization are described. Seal arrangements provided with an axial housing sealing engagement surface are shown. A seal arrangement is provided with variations therein, to advantage. These variations can be in either or both of an outer peripheral edge surface and a housing seal engagement surface. Also, air cleaner assemblies having advantageous features therein are provided. Further, air cleaner housings are described, with selected, preferred features for engagement with filter cartridges.
