Abstract: Provided is a pneumatic tire. A sipe is formed, on each of a leading side edge and a trailing side edge, with a chamfered portion shorter than a sipe length of a sipe, a non-chamfered region in which no other chamfered portion is present is provided in a part facing each of the chamfered portions, at least one end of the sipe communicates with the auxiliary groove, one end of the chamfered portion adjacent to the auxiliary groove in the rib communicates with the auxiliary groove, a maximum depth×(mm) of the sipe and a maximum depth y (mm) of the chamfered portion satisfy a relationship x×0.1≤y≤x×0.3+1.0, and a sipe width W of the sipe is constant in a range from an end positioned in the radial direction inside the chamfered portion to a groove bottom of the sipe.

Abstract: A tire includes a tread and a narrow, wavy, circumferential groove disposed on the tread, which extend around the tread in a circumferential direction. The narrow, wavy, circumferential groove has a first axial position associated with a minimum axial displacement, a second axial position associated with a maximum axial displacement, and the narrow, wavy, circumferential groove follows a serpentine path between the first and second axial positions. The narrow, wavy, circumferential groove has a first depth and a second depth, the first depth being a minimum narrow, wavy, circumferential groove depth and the second depth being a maximum narrow, wavy, circumferential groove depth. The narrow, wavy, circumferential groove follows a serpentine path between the first and second depths. The first depth of the narrow, wavy, circumferential groove and the second depth of the narrow, wavy, circumferential groove is between 0.10 mm and full tread depth.

Abstract: A tire includes a tread portion provided with a plurality of blocks. At least one of the plurality of blocks is provided with a sipe. The sipe extends in a sipe longitudinal direction to form a zigzag opening configuration on a ground contact surface of the at least one of the plurality of blocks. The sipe extends inwardly in a tire radial direction such that the zigzag opening configuration oscillates in the sipe longitudinal direction repeatedly with a total amplitude and a wavelength while maintaining the zigzag opening configuration. A half of the wavelength of the sipe is in a range of from 0.10 to 0.24 times a maximum depth of the sipe, and a slope of the half of the wavelength with respect to the total amplitude has an angle in a range of from 45 to 65 degrees.

Abstract: A center land part and intermediate land parts formed on the tread surface by four main grooves are partitioned in the circumferential direction of the tire only by sipes, and form block parts arranged in the circumferential direction. The acute angle parts of each of the block parts are all chamfered from the tread surface side. The chamfered width at an end part of the block part in the width direction of the tire is greater than the chamfer width at the middle part. Each ends of the sipes in an outer intermediate land part open respectively to the main grooves. The mean angle of the sipes in the outer intermediate land part is less than that in the center land part and in an inner intermediate land part. The sipes in the center land part communicate with the main groove only on the side of the vehicle installation inner side.
