    摘要: A pneumatic tire includes circumferential grooves aligned in a lateral direction and extending in a circumferential direction, lateral grooves aligned in the circumferential direction and extending to cross the circumferential direction, communicating at ends with the circumferential grooves and defining a block-shaped land portion between the circumferential grooves, two narrow grooves aligned in the lateral direction and extending in the circumferential direction, communicating at ends with a lateral groove and dividing the land portion defined by each of the circumferential grooves and each of the lateral grooves into small land portions, the narrow grooves having a smaller groove width than the circumferential grooves and being formed with a bent portion in an intermediate portion, the bent portion being disposed inward in the lateral direction, and bend points of the bent portions being disposed at positions offset from one another in the circumferential direction.

    摘要: A tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes one center continuous land portion and two intermediate continuous land portions that are divided by four circumferential main grooves and that are not provided with lug grooves. Edges on both sides of one center main groove include groove chamfered portions having a chamfered width changing in the circumferential direction in a zigzag shape. In the regions of the intermediate continuous land portions, first sipes extending inward in the lateral direction from shoulder main grooves of the main grooves, which are positioned on outer sides in the lateral direction, are provided. The first sipes each include a sipe main body portion having a constant distance between sipe wall surfaces on a sipe bottom side and a sipe chamfered portion inclined so that the sipe wall surfaces are open toward the tread surface.

An edge shape of each of sipes on the first side includes an extending portion extending inward in the lateral direction constantly in an extension direction and a bent portion that is provided to be joined to an end of the first extending portion and that has the edge shape bent from the extension direction of the first extending portion to a direction close to the circumferential direction. Every portion of the first extending portion and the bent portion of the sipes are provided with a main body portion and a sipe chamfered portion.

    摘要: A heavy-duty pneumatic tire having block land portions in a tread surface can reduce the tire circumferential shearing strain and heat generation in the tread portion to prevent the separation failure between the tread rubber and the belt more effectively. A heavy-duty pneumatic tire has, in a tread surface, blocks defined by a plurality of circumferential main grooves each continuously extending in a tire circumferential direction and a plurality of transverse grooves each communicating between circumferential main grooves adjacent in a tire width direction, wherein in a tire widthwise area that centers on a tire equator and whose width in the tire width direction is 50% of a tread width: at least one of the blocks has a block partitioning groove that is open to each of transverse grooves defining the block and is shallower than the circumferential main grooves, to divide the block into a plurality of small blocks; and at least one of the small blocks has a block auxiliary groove that is open to the block partitioning groove at one end and open to a corresponding circumferential main groove or transverse groove at an other end and is shallower than the circumferential main grooves.
