    摘要： A counterbalanced vertical track assembly which may be configured with three types of pulley support assemblies are herein disclosed. The first type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules having an elongate structural element interposed the two pulley modules which are attached to end plates at both ends of the elongate structural element. The second type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules which include male end connectors for demountable engagement of the pulley modules with another module of the system with female ends. The third type of pulley support assembly has a pair of opposed pulley modules wherein the modules' pulley brackets are repositionable to varying angular orientations by alternating screw mount positions selected on mount components at opposite ends of an elongate structural element.

    摘要： A seat gantry system and method are provided for handling, installing, and removing heavy seat assemblies, and the components thereof prevent manual lifting of a heavy seat assembly during installation. A seat gantry system or method may include an outside seat gantry, a seat cart, an inside seat gantry, and an artificial lifting torso. An outside seat gantry is used for lifting a seat assembly off a shipping platform, moving and positioning a seat assembly over a seat cart, and lowering the seat assembly onto the seat cart. A seat cart is used for transporting a seat assembly. An inside seat gantry is used for lifting a seat assembly from a seat cart and positioning and lowering the seat assembly for installation. An artificial lifting torso is used to provide a common lifting point at a balanced fore-aft center of gravity of a seat assembly.

    摘要： A portable plural telescoping mast cable hoist mechanism is provided which incorporates a single cable for telescopically extending and retracting the mast sections and for controlling movement of a load handling carriage. A carriage lock mechanism is provided to prevent inadvertent movement of the carriage and movable mast sections while the cable hoist mechanism is being transported or otherwise moved about while positioned on its side. The carriage lock mechanism incorporates a freely pivotal carriage lock having a hook at its lower end which is normally positioned out of locking engagement with a locking pin and which is pivoted by gravity into locking engagement with the locking pin while the unit is lying on its side for transportation and handling, thereby securing the carriage and mast sections against inadvertent movement.

    摘要： The invention relates to a device for lifting and transporting heavy objects, such as a piano with the use of a hoist mechanism mounted on the frame which straddles the piano. The frame is mounted on casters to allow easy rolling of the frame along a horizontal surface, while the piano is being secured within the frame in a suspended position through the use of the lifting bar engaging the piano about its rear horizontal frame post. Pendulous movement of the piano is prevented by the use of a pair of horizontal cross bars secured to vertical posts of the frame in the lower and upper portions thereof.

The lift assembly includes a reel and a rope for lowering and raising the load, and a brake assembly for controlling the lowering and lifting operation.
