摘要： A shipping and installation container for soft tubing. The container includes a substantially cylindrical section that readily receives soft or foam tubing commonly used on heating or cooling conduits in an industrial plant. End caps are provided at opposite ends of the cylindrical section to facilitate stacking and storing the container laden with soft tubing during shipment. The end caps can be readily removed and the cylindrical section then serves as a guide to facilitate installation of the tubing onto industrial conduit.

The three intersecting planes form three dihedral angles whose sum is about 180°. The hollow inner portion is in contact with each inner side of the hollow outer portion. Further, the hollow inner portion includes at one panel that extends between each inner side of the hollow outer portion to thereby form hollow inner triangular channels.

摘要： An endboard for supporting a roll of material is provided. The endboard consists of a substantially rigid member that is sized and shaped to receive and support the roll of material. The endboard is molded from a mixture of plastic and sawdust. The combination of plastic and sawdust provides improved loading bearing strength and allows for support of heavy rolls of material without requiring the roll to support itself on its face. The endboard design thus prevents damage to the rolled material stored in horizontal fashion. In a preferred embodiment, the endboard has a series of elongated substantially parallel recessed portions that are vertically aligned and at least partially define vertical ribbed portions. The recessed portions and ribbed portions thus reduce the amount of material needed for construction of the endboards, while maintaining the structural integrity thereof.

The storage tube may be clear plastic, and coloring may be added to distinguish different models of electronic heating pads. A method for storing the electronic heating pad includes coiling a cord and controller assembly attached to the pad, placing the coiled cord and controller assembly along an edge of the pad parallel to straight sections of heating wire within the pad, rolling the pad in a direction so as to roll the pad around the coiled cord and controller assembly, inserting the rolled pad into the storage tube, and closing the storage tube with the lid. Optionally, the rolled pad may be inserted into a cloth sleeve prior to inserting the rolled pad covered with the cloth sleeve into the storage tube.
