    摘要: A composite pallet is made of concrete. The concrete material can include various concrete mixtures, such as Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC) or an Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC). It also can include microspheres. The concrete material can be cast in a mold or formed via an extrusion process and then cured. The pallet components can include a core material that can form various voids or cavities. The core material can include polystyrene foam, and the foam forms a honeycomb, which is then filled with the concrete material. The concrete material can also be dyed to create different colors to identify the pallets. The pallets can further include plastic and/or rubber bumpers on the corners and/or edges to prevent or minimize chipping. The resulting pallet can be cured using carbon dioxide (CO2) curing which reduces the cure time to about an hour or less.

    摘要: A pallet (1) made of plastic or other materials is provided with a plurality of hollow feet (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) at its underside (10). These are obtained by depressing the pallet material. At least one of these feet—foot (8)—has a length (L′) substantially corresponding to the length (L)—or width (B)—of the pallet. This foot (8) contains at least two inner comparatively wide support parts (13, 14, 15), arranged in series and projecting from the bottom part (16) of the foot (8). In this way, according to fire tests—where several identical pallets (1) filled with goods were stacked on top of each other—each pallet (1) has a unique ability to extinguish flames generated in goods on the pallet located directly below the pallet in question, and moreover, the pallet also shows considerable dimensional stability. This makes the pallet (1) particularly suitable for transport on transport means, optionally roller conveyors which cause many bumps.

    摘要: A shipping pallet offers significant advantage over the prior art, in that it is stronger, lighter, stiffer and more rigid, more economical, and ecologically sound. The pallet for shipping materials includes a deck that has a plurality of arch elements situated adjacent to each other and wherein each of the arch elements is situated such that a load applied to the deck will transmit forces through each of the arch elements and towards adjacent arch elements, such that forces from adjacent arch elements intersect each other at an intersection point. One advantage of this structural design is that the intersecting forces create a countervailing compressive stress to fully or partially offset the forces from the applied load by laterally redirecting the stress inducing forces.
