Abstract: A device for discharging particulate material, for example powder material, granules or capsules, or in general free-flowing material, such as adhesive material, on a substrate moving along a conveying direction, includes at least one drum rotor having at least one helical track carrying the material to be discharged. The drum rotor is arranged adjacent to the moving substrate, with its axis substantially parallel to the conveying direction so that the portion of the at least one helical track which is closest to the substrate moves in the conveying direction during rotation of the drum rotor and discharges the material carried thereby on the substrate.

Abstract: A proppant discharge system has a container with an outlet positioned in a bottom thereof and a gate affixed adjacent the outlet so as to be movable between a first position covering the outlet to a second position opening the outlet, and a support structure having an actuator thereon. The container is removably positioned on the top surface of the support structure. The actuator is engageable with gate so as to move the gate from the first position to the second position. A conveyor underlies the container so as to receive proppant as discharged from the container through the outlet. The container can be a ten foot ISO container.

Abstract: A system protects an outlet of a pneumatic conveyor. The outlet has a horizontal section. The system comprises a deflector for protecting the horizontal section, and sets of stanchions therefor respectively attached to clamp assemblies mounted on the horizontal section. The deflector comprises angled walls, a plurality of crossbeams interconnecting the angled walls for reinforcing the deflector, and an end flange. Each stanchion has a foot. Each clamp assembly comprises two equal halves, fasteners joining together the equal halves, and a flange for each equal half perpendicular thereto. The system further comprises fasteners each attaching one foot to one flange, respectively.

Abstract: An assembly for directing bulk material from an upper conveyor to a lower conveyor is provided. The conveyors are relatively rotatable in yaw and the lower conveyor is pivotable in pitch. The assembly includes an upper hood portion, a vertical flow cone, and a bottom containment assembly. The upper hood portion redirects material from the upper conveyor downward through an exit aperture. The vertical flow cone underneath the upper hood portion is rotatable in yaw relative to the upper hood portion and is movable vertically relative to the upper hood portion. The vertical flow cone directs the bulk material from the exit aperture toward the lower conveyor. The bottom containment assembly is mounted to the lower conveyor, is movable lengthwise relative to the lower conveyor, is pivotable and movable vertically relative to the upper hood portion, and includes an aperture for receiving the material.

The auger assembly has inner and outer auger tubes pivotally connected to one another.
