    摘要: A carriage is designed for transport into and out of a pipe, carrying appropriate lighting and a television camera with a lens cover movable from a remote location between covering and uncovering positions. A movable portion carrying two sets of three nozzles, one of each set being equipped to emit a spray of water, liquid penetrant and air, is mounted on the carriage. After an initial visual inspection on a remote TV monitor to verify location and check for the presence of relatively large cracks or flaws, the lens is covered, the inside pipe surface is sprayed first with water for cleaning, then with penetrant which enters any cracks which may be present, and again with water to wash away any penetrant other than that which has entered cracks in the area being inspected. The surface is then dried by the air nozzle, the lens cover removed and a "black light" source turned on, thus rendering visible on the TV monitor any liquid penetrant which is entrapped in small cracks or faults in the pipe. A radioactive substance may also be carried on the device and used for supplementary inspection by wrapping a photographic film on the exterior of the pipe.

    摘要: An automatic detection method for defects of a display panel is disclosed, which comprises: acquiring a tag image, a mapped original image and a mapped tag image; dividing the mapped original image into a plurality of mapped original sub-images, and dividing the mapped tag image into a plurality of mapped tag sub-images; acquiring a normal area and a defective area of the mapped original sub-images; merging the mapped original sub-images to discriminate the normal area and the defective area of the mapped original sub-images; correcting the discriminated normal area and the discriminated defective area of the mapped original sub-images by using the mapped tag image and the tag image to acquire a defect location of the display panel. The automatic detection method for defects of the display panel can accurately acquire the location of the defect and the difference between the defective area and the normal area to quantify and discriminate the defects of the display panel.

    摘要: An inspection system in which the image viewed and the object being inspected lie in a single line of sight of the inspector. In one preferred embodiment, the inspector views a first side of back-to-back mirrors disposed at a 45 degree angle to the line of sight of the inspector. A video camera is disposed to view the reflection of the object from the second side of the mirrors and the image on a CRT is reflected from the first side of the mirrors. Thus, the image seen by the inspector is correctly spacially oriented with respect to the object and the inspector may manually position or re-position the object as easily as if the inspector were directly viewing it. In another preferred embodiment, a flat screen CRT and a miniature video camera are aligned in the direct line of sight from the inspector to the object. Zoom and cross-hair features may be provided in either embodiment.
