    摘要: A photoconductor containing an optional supporting substrate, a photogenerating layer, and at least one charge transport layer, and wherein the photogenerating layer contains an alkyltriol, such as glycerol, and a photogenerating pigment, such as a Type V titanyl phthalocyanine prepared, for example, by dissolving a Type I titanyl phthalocyanine in a solution of a trihaloacetic acid and an alkylene halide; adding the mixture comprising the dissolved Type I titanyl phthalocyanine to a solution of an alcohol and an alkylene halide thereby precipitating a Type Y titanyl phthalocyanine; and treating the Type Y titanyl phthalocyanine with a monohalobenzene.

    摘要: An electrophotographic photoconductor, including an electrically conductive substrate, an undercoat layer containing a filler and a binder resin and provided on the substrate, and a photoconductive layer provided on the undercoat layer and containing a binder resin. At least one compound selected from crown ethers, polyalkyleneglycol ethers, polyethyleneglycol monocarboxylic acid esters, polyethyleneglycol dicarboxylic acid esters, and hydroxy-terminated random or block copolymers containing oxypropylene and oxyethylene groups is incorporated into (a) the undercoat layer or (b) into a charge generating layer of the photoconductive layer. In the case of (a), the photoconductive layer is a dried coating of a composition containing at least one solvent selected from cyclic ethers, ketones and aromatic hydrocarbons.

    摘要: The present invention provides an electrophotographic photoconductor capable of reducing latent electrostatic image stability defects caused by adhesion/adsorption of an electric discharge product formed by a charger in an image forming process, degradation of charge transportability and cleaning defects caused when removing a residual toner. The electrophotographic photoconductor has a conductive substrate, and a photosensitive layer which contains at least a binder, a charge generating material and a charge transporting material and is formed on the substrate, wherein the photosensitive layer contains an injection material composed of at least any one of one wax selected from paraffin waxes, Fisher-Tropsh waxes, polyolefin waxes and a polyorganosiloxane compound in an area from the surface of the photosensitive layer to 50% of the thickness thereof in the thickness direction of the electrophotographic photoconductor, and the content of the injection material is 3% by mass or more to the content of the binder.
