摘要： A user-configurable modular audio control surface comprises master modules for controlling global surface properties and channel modules for controlling one or more individual audio channels. The modules are disposed in a two-dimensional spatial arrangement such that any module can occupy a location within the control surface not occupied by another module. The modules are connected to each other and to external platforms hosting media applications and plug-ins via a network. Control surface users can interact with external applications via remote graphical user interfaces displayed on modules within the surface, and can automate multiple external applications using an automation system built into the surface. Automation line graphs and metadata for both internal and external applications are displayed over the corresponding waveform displays that can include audio ahead of a current playback location.

In one aspect, a method includes receiving a query, obtaining a plurality of search results responsive to the query, the search results being results from a search of web resources on the Internet, and determining from the plurality of search results that the query is a music query. Music data for a song responsive to the query is obtained, where the music data comprises a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) of song content of the song on the Internet. A music answer box is generated for the query, where the music answer box comprises the music data and a link to the URL of the song content, and the music answer box is provided in addition to search results.

In the context of a method, an audio file and a transcripted text report corresponding to the audio file may be received. For each of a plurality of positions within the transcripted text report, the method correlates the respective position within the transcripted text report with a corresponding position within the audio file. The method also augments the transcripted text report to include a plurality of selectable elements. Each selectable element is associated with a respective position within the transcripted text report. The selectable elements are responsive to user actuation in order to cause the audio file to move to the corresponding position. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.
