摘要: Systems for receiving, analyzing, and organizing audio content contained within a plurality of media files are disclosed. The systems generally include a server that is configured to receive, index, and store a plurality of media files, which are received by the server from a plurality of sources, within at least one database in communication with the server. In addition, the server is configured to make one or more of the media files accessible to and searchable by, one or more persons other than the original sources of such media files. Still further, the server may be configured to organize audio content included within each of the plurality of media files into bipartite graphs; segment media files into parts that exhibit similar attributes; extract and present meta data to a user that pertain to each media file; and employ multi-variable ranking methods to prioritize media file search results.

摘要: A device of updating a media file for an increased resolution includes an I/O interface, a processor, and a storage device. The I/O interfaces acquires a first media file having first data samples and a second media file having second data samples. Each first data sample is sampled from an analog media signal and encoded with P bits and each second data sample is sampled from the analog media signal and encoded with Q bits, wherein “P” and “Q” are integers, and a resolution in bits of Q is greater than a resolution in bits of. The processor divides each second data sample by a corresponding one of the first data samples to calculate third data samples. The storage device stores the calculated third data samples as a third media file.

摘要: An approach is described for creating an audio file sample based upon user preferences. An associated method may include detecting selection of an audio file by a user, wherein the selection of the audio file occurs via a communications network and indexing the audio file to create a plurality of indexed segments based upon audio analysis. The method further may include selecting at least one segment among the plurality of indexed segments based upon a profile of the user and incorporating the at least one selected segment into an audio sample having a designated length. Indexing the audio file to create a plurality of indexed segments based upon audio analysis may include, for each audio characteristic among a plurality of designated audio characteristics, creating from the audio file at least one indexed segment corresponding to the audio characteristic.

摘要: There is provided system for distributed live performance scheduled audio recording, cloud-based audio content editing and online content distribution of audio track and associated metadata. The system comprise a content editing server and a plurality of audio recording slave devices and at least one artist client computing device configure to display a content editing interface in communication with the content editing server via the Internet. In use the content editing interface is configurable to receive a live performance schedule such that the server is configured to configure an audio recording slave device with the live performance schedule such that the audio recording slave device records audio data of a live performance and uploads the data to the server. The content editing interface is then configured to display a track editing interface comprising at least one-time series waveform representation of the audio data stored by the server in the audio database, the time series waveform representation comprising track demarcation controls configured for controlling track time demarcations to demarcate a plurality of audio tracks and a metadata editing interface configured for editing metadata associated with each of the audio tracks. As such, the server is configured to distribute the plurality of audio tracks and associated metadata.

摘要: A voice capture device helps users capture and act upon fleeting thoughts. In response to user activation a processor stores an audio file corresponding to a finite amount of audio captured by a microphone of the voice capture device. The processor automatically transfers the audio file to one or more servers either directly via the Internet or via an intermediate device at a later time when such transfer is possible. The one or more servers automatically convert the audio file to a corresponding text record, automatically add the text record to a history of text records for the user, and send a copy of the history of text records for the user to a computing device associated with the user. The user can thereby utilize the computing device to review the history of text records and be reminded of actions that need to be taken.

摘要: Embodiments described herein involve generating and modifying a sub-index of a media index. An example method may involve receiving requests to play back media items in a media index, tracking the requests to play back the media items in the media index, determining a set of media items from among the media items in the media index based on the tracked requests to play back media items in the media index, and indexing the determined set of media items into a sub-index. The set of media items have been played at least a pre-determined threshold number of times within a pre-determined threshold period of time. The media items in the sub-index are a subset of the media items in the main index.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for enabling sharing of audio feeds. One method includes receiving, from a user over a network, a request to add an audio feed to a collection managed by the user; storing, in a database, a URL of the audio feed in relation to the collection; receiving, from the user over the network, a request to share the collection; and generating an RSS URL of the collection by searching the database for URLs of audio feeds stored in relation to the collection.
