摘要： Secure cash deposit containers, such as secure cash bags or secure cash boxes equipped with an integrated bill scanner and a transmitter. The integrated bill scanner may receive and count the bills, and then store them in the secure cash deposit container. A transmitter in communication with the scanner may then transmit a report to the bank servicing the commercial establishment's cash deposit account. The bank may then automatically credit the amount reported by the scanner to the commercial establishment cash deposit account. The amount credited may be subject to further verification, for example, by a bank teller or by a bank's automated cash counting and sorting machines.

摘要： Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for till management. In one implementation, a recycling of notes is triggered using a recycler controller. The notes are recycled using a cash recycler, and the notes corresponding to a till. A coin value of plurality of coins corresponding to the till is recorded using the recycler controller. The coin value is determined by capturing a weight of a set of coins of the plurality of coins corresponding to a designated coin denomination. The weight of the set of coins is captured using a coin scale. The till is validated based on the coin value and the recycling of the notes.

摘要： In one embodiment, a two-portion cash-dispensing machine has a first secure portion that receives paper currency during bill-breaking operations and vouchers during voucher-redemption operations and a second secure portion that dispenses paper currency. Physical access to the first secure portion is restricted to authorized first agents, and physical access to the second secure portion is restricted to authorized second agents. Physical access to the first secure portion by an authorized first agent does not inherently provide physical access to the second secure portion by the authorized first agent, and vice versa. In one application, two different business entities are respectively responsible for maintaining the two different secure portions, and the machine communicates information associated with requests for transfers of funds from a bank account of the first entity to a bank account of the second entity to reimburse the second entity for bill-breaking and voucher-redemption operations.

摘要： A banknote validator/dispenser having a plurality of banknote accumulators includes a computer control module that stores banknote receipt and dispensing transaction history information. The computer control module uses this information as part of a statistical analysis used to vary an operating procedure of the banknote validator/dispenser. In one embodiment, the operating procedure is associated with a decision whether to accept a transaction requiring the dispensing of change from banknotes stored in the banknote accumulators. This decision includes an assessment of the ability to accept future transactions if the current transaction is accepted. In a different embodiment the operating procedure is associated with a change in the denomination of banknotes being accumulated. This change is assessed, based on the statistical analysis, including an assessment of the operating performance of the current setup and the operating performance of a proposed setup and preferably, an assessment of a decrease in performance during a transition period.
