    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image scanning device, which comprises: a document tray to load an original document to be scanned; a discharge tray to load the original document after being scanned; and a frame which the document tray and the discharge tray are mounted on. A conveyance path is formed inside the frame to connect the document tray and the discharge tray. The frame contains a conveying structure to convey the original document along the conveyance path; a transparent support member located below the conveyance path to support the original document; a scanning member located below the transparent support member, the scanning member having a scanning position in which the scanning member scans the original document when being located on the transparent support member; and a pressing member disposed above the transparent support member and facing the scanning member for pressing the original document onto the transparent support member.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus can suppress the degradation of an image signal due to electrostatic discharge with a simple configuration. An original feeder unit is supported openably and closably by a hinge mechanism fixed on a bottom member of an image reading unit. An image sensor substrate of an image reading unit and an image processing substrate of an image forming unit are connected by a cable. An electrically conductive connecting portion electrically connects a bottom member of the image reading unit with a casing of the image forming unit, and is arranged along the cable. The bottom member has a notch formed therein, the connecting portion is fixed to the bottom member so as to extend over the notch, and the cable is arranged so as to pass through an opening portion thereby formed in a direction from above to below of the bottom member.

    摘要: The spread spectrum clock generator (SSCG) includes a phase comparator detecting phase difference between input clock and feedback clock; a charge pump supplying current depending on the phase difference; a loop filter converting the current to smoothed voltage; a voltage controlled oscillator generating a spread spectrum clock signal depending on the smoothed voltage; and a modulation signal generator generating modulation signal having amplitude depending on a modulation width set value. The SSCG further includes a modulation width detector detecting modulation width of the spread spectrum clock signal while comparing the modulation width with a modulation width target value to update the modulation width set value to narrow difference between the detected modulation width and the modulation width target value, followed by feeding back the updated modulation width set value to the modulation signal generator.
