    摘要: An image reading portion includes a light emitting portion and a plurality of photoelectric conversion elements. The light emitting portion emits detection light to a target area extending over a surface of a conveying belt and a pair of off-belt areas outside the conveying belt in a width direction. The image reading portion outputs a plurality of pixel data items. A reference member forms a pair of boundary lines by the difference in reflectance of the detection light at a pair of reference positions in the pair of off-belt areas. A calibration portion identifies data items corresponding to the pair of boundary lines in the plurality of pixel data items obtained by the image reading portion so as to correct reference position data representing a correspondence relationship between the plurality of pixel data items and positions in the width direction.

    摘要: An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to: control an operation of the information processing apparatus by executing a control program; in response to reception of an instruction to enter a power-supply off state, determine whether a first power-supply off state is allowed to be entered, the first power-supply off state being a state in which, while a current operation state is held without execution of a restart of the control program, the operation is stopped; in response to a determination result indicating that the first power-supply off state fails to be entered, perform a redetermination after a lapse of a set time, the redetermination determining whether the first power-supply off state is allowed to be entered; and in response to the redetermination determining that the first power-supply off state is allowed to be entered, cause the first power-supply off state to be entered, and, in response to the redetermination determining that the first power-supply off state is not allowed to be entered, cause a second power-supply off state to be entered, the second power-supply off state being a state in which, after the control program is restarted and an initialization process is performed, the operation is stopped.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus has a clock supply circuit supplying a signal at a first clock frequency or a second clock frequency lower than the first frequency, a first CPU performing image data processing based on the signal, and a second CPU measuring time based on the signal to determine execution timing of each process performed in control processing. The image forming apparatus includes a load determination unit determining whether a load of the image data processing is higher than a reference level, and a control unit that switches the frequency to the first frequency when the load is higher than the reference level, and to the second frequency when the load is not higher. When the frequency switching occurs, the second CPU changes a method for measuring time. The second CPU completes one process before the switching and starts the next one after the switching.
