Next, a computer terminal is notified that a user profile has been selected. A printing device includes a first printer and a second printer which continuously print one or plural pieces of printing data onto a printing medium. In the printing device, the second printer includes a reading sensor, the first printer first prints the one or plural pieces of printing data onto the printing medium by forming a mark indicating a page of the printing medium or each of the plural pieces of the printing data, the reading sensor in the second printer subsequently reads the mark and matches printing surfaces of the printing medium to be printed by the first and second printers, and the second printer thereafter prints the printing data onto the printing medium. An image forming system includes multiple image forming apparatuses and a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal establishes communication connection in a remote operation mode with a parent apparatus (one of the image forming apparatuses), the remote operation mode being a mode in which the mobile terminal operates as a remote operation apparatus of the parent apparatus. The mobile terminal displays an operation screen received from the parent apparatus, accepts a user operation provided through the operation screen, and transmits first setting information based on the user operation to the parent apparatus. The parent apparatus receives the first setting information from the mobile terminal and determines a setting target child apparatus. The parent apparatus transmits second setting information based on the first setting information to the setting target child apparatus, and the setting target child apparatus sets setting content based on the second setting information received from the parent apparatus.

A slave includes a display unit that projects and displays an image and a signal receiving unit that receives data transmitted from a commander. The slave includes a detection unit that detects an error in the commander on the basis of the receiving conditions of the data in the signal receiving unit. The slave includes a display control unit that, when an error is detected by the detection unit, makes the display unit display an image showing that the error has been detected.

A document processing system and method includes a first document processing device configured to send a job completion notification subscription, user account information, charge account information, and usage restriction information to a second document processing device, and in response receive job usage information from the second document processing device for each document processing operation completed by the second document processing device, such as printing, scanning, photocopying, and faxing. The first document processing device updates the user account, charge account, and usage restriction information based on the received job usage information, and sends updated user account, charge account, and usage restriction information to the second document processing device.
