摘要： A stretchable fastener stringer for a slide fastener includes a fastener tape having a tape main portion and an element attaching portion and a continuous fastener element which is attached to the element attaching portion. The fastener tape has stretchability due to an elastic yarn being combined by weaving or knitting and the fastener element includes a coupling head, upper and lower leg portions which are extended from the coupling head and a connecting portion which connects the upper and lower leg portions, therebetween of adjacent fastener elements. In this fastener stringer, a value of a bulging ratio which is the ratio between a dimension of the coupling head in the tape longitudinal direction and a dimension of the upper and lower leg portions in the tape longitudinal direction is set to be larger than 1.80 and not larger than 2.33.

摘要： A liquid-tight slide fastener, wherein a pair of right and left coil-like coupling element rows, through which a core thread is respectively passed, is attached by sewing along opposing side edges of a pair of right and left fastener tapes, the fastener tapes having a liquid-tight layer on one surface thereof, and the core thread is coated with a water repellent agent or oil repellent agent. Consequently, even if water or oil invades into a space portion in the coupling element rows through a joint portion in the liquid-tight slide fastener, the core thread repels the water or oil, thereby blocking a further invasion of water or oil, and exerting excellent water repellency or oil repellency without provision of a water stop flap.

The transparent elastomeric compositions can be covulcanized with rubbers such as polybutadiene, polyisoprene, styrene-butadiene rubber, styrene-isoprene-butadiene rubber, isoprene-butadiene rubber, or natural rubber and polybutene processing oil. The colorable rubber compositions have sufficient properties to function as a reinforcing member in a shoe sole or automobile tire. Preferably, both the transparent and colorable elastomeric compositions include at least one copolymer of a C4 to C7 isoolefin and a p-methylstyrene, silica and a high cis-polybutadiene rubber.

摘要： A coil-shaped fastener element is comprised of a coupling head bulging to both sides, upper/lower leg portions adjacent the coupling head and a connecting portion for connecting the upper and lower leg portions. With providing a stepped portion in a center of the upper leg portion, a portion of the fastener element on a side of the coupling head is formed thick while a portion thereof on a side of the connecting portion is formed thin. A coupling space is provided between the upper and lower leg portions. A protruded portion protruded into the coupling space is provided in a back of the stepped portion of the upper leg portion. A slope portion is formed such that the coupling space is expanded from an inside of an upper portion of the coupling head to a base portion of the protruded portion. A core thread is inserted between the upper and lower leg portions and sewed using a sewing yarn of multi-thread chain stitches as fixing yarn, such that a side edge of the core thread is protruded toward the coupling head. Upon coupling, the coupling head is allowed to be inserted quickly along the slope portion and an excessive insertion of a mating coupling element is prevented by the protruded portion and core thread so as to stabilize the coupling. Thus, the linear slide fastener enables a smooth and quick coupling operation.

摘要： In a fastener tape having a tape main portion obtained by weaving and an element-mounting edge portion in which core strings are woven, foundation warps used for the tape main portion have a lower thermal contraction coefficient than the other warps. The core strings have a high thermal contraction coefficient. The warps adjacent to the core strings at an inner side thereof have a thermal contraction coefficient lower than that of the core strings. Therefore, it is possible to obtain a fastener stringer in which no puckering occurs in an element-mounting edge portion even after elements are attached, so that linearity can be secured.

摘要： A stringer for a slide fastener has a coupling element formed from a continuous filament with superimposed leg portions and an attaching member. An elongated flexible member extending parallel the attaching member and between the superimposed leg portions is gripped by a groove, a tooth, or the like formed on one leg portion of each pair of leg portions to restrain longitudinal and transverse movement of the leg portions relative to the elongated member. Thread means secures the coupling element and elongated member to one side of the tape by extending over the elongated member or over the one leg portion only between the superimposed leg portions. The elongated member provides dimensional stability to the coupling element.

摘要： A woven zipper has two cooperating zipper sections each having an elongated zipper tape provided with a longitudinally extending margin and an elongated flexible element which extends along this margin. A filament extends in an undulate path along the margin and forms a plurality of successive loops each having one leg passing in front of and another leg passing behind the flexible element. A first curved connecting portion extends outwardly of the margin and element and connects one leg of each loop with an adjacent leg of a successive loop, and a second curved connecting portion extends inwardly of the margin and element and connects the legs of each loop to one another. A coupling projection is formed on each first connecting portion for engagement with a cooperating projection of the adjacent zipper section. First threads extend along the element adjacent the second connecting portions and are located exclusively in front of the legs, and second threads also extend along the element adjacent the second connecting portions but are located exclusively behind the legs. First weft thread portions are woven into the zipper tape at longitudinally spaced locations and each extends transversely of the second threads and crosses the element in front of the latter, and second weft thread portions are also woven into the zipper tape, each being located intermediate two of the first weft thread portions and extending transversely of the first threads and crossing the element behind the latter.

摘要： A concealed zip fastener is provided with a series of spaced element-receiving openings aligned longitudinally along a reinforced marginal edge of each of two opposed carrier tapes and defining a line of fold along which the tape is folded. These openings are adapted to hold therein a portion of an interlocking fastener element of a meandering form. A row of fastener elements is secured to the folded edge of the tape by a line of stitchings running closely along said series of openings in a manner that the tape resists lateral displacement when lateral stresses are applied in a direction to pull apart the junction of the opposed tapes.
