摘要： Extrusion dies may be cleaned, especially of so-called die drips, by passing a wire over the die orifices in the vicinity of the exit face of the extrusion die. The operation of the extrusion operation is not affected by the passing of the wire through the stream(s) of the extrudate, and so the extrusion operation need not be shut down for the cleaning process. The process is especially useful for cleaning dies through which polymers are extruded.

摘要： This invention provides a resin extrusion die capable of suppressing die drool generation and contamination of a resin molded form with generated die drool serving as foreign substances. The resin extrusion die includes a cap through which a molten resin is extruded, and a cover that includes a gas outlet for forming a gap around the tip of a discharge nozzle and covers at least part of the cap so as to form a space between the cap and the gas outlet. The gas outlet forms, around the tip of the discharge nozzle, the gap whose maximum width/minimum width ranges from 1.05 to 2.0, thereby changing a gas supplied into the cover and flowing out of the gap to a turbulent flow.

摘要： A tool for removing and installing serpentine belts in vehicles has a drive bar, a double box end wrench and a socket. The drive bar has a handle at a first end and a fitting at an opposite second end that is used to connect to the double box end wrench. The double box end wrench has a first end defining a polygonally shaped opening and an opposite second end that defines a ratcheting wrench having a first plurality of teeth on an inner circumference thereof. The socket defines a second plurality of teeth on an outer circumference thereof that are adapted to be received by the ratcheting wrench first plurality of teeth. The socket also defines one of a polygonally shaped opening and a polygonally shaped tang that is received by a work piece of an vehicle idler pulley.

An electrical induction heater includes coils of copper tubing connected to an electrical power source and to a coolant circulating device is positioned at a radially outer portion of the die body and is energizable to supply heat to the die body to maintain a uniform temperature of approximately 480° C., controlled by signals from thermocouples around the extrusion chamber.

摘要： A dispensing bucket apparatus that removably connects to a loader vehicle. The apparatus is a bucket that is adapted to receive and hold a flowable material and has an exit opening in its front end that is selectively opened and closed by a gate. The position of the gate may be controlled by the user from within the loader vehicle to control the flow and flow rate of the flowable material from the bucket. The side walls of the bucket converge toward the front of the bucket and form a funnel that directs the flowable material to the exit opening. The construction of the apparatus is such that the user can view the pour at all times and, thereby, reduce spillage and waste. An alternate embodiment includes a tilting mechanism that provides for attachment of the bucket to a forklift and for tilting of the bucket. A removable chute allows the pour opening to be extended further from the front of the bucket.

摘要： A slip supply system includes an annular slip supply pipe 24 with a primary pipe 24a, a shut-off valve 27 and a secondary pipe 24b connected in series. Each pouring pipe 28 which feeds slip to a casting machine 25 is connected at the upstream end thereof to the primary pipe 24a by way of an inlet side opening and closing valve 29. Each pouring pipe 28 is connected at the downstream end thereof to the secondary pipe 24b by way of an outlet side opening and closing valve 30. With the shut-off valve 27 being open and both opening and closing valves 29 and 30 being closed, slip is fed under pressure by a pressure feeding device 23b. The slip fed under pressure is passed through the annular slip supply pipe 24 and is returned to re-purifying facilities 23a, so that the interior of the annular slip supply pipe 24 is displaced by new slip. With the shut-off valve 27 being closed and both opening and closing valves 29 and 30 being open, slip is fed under pressure by the pressure feeding device 23b, so that the interior of each pouring pipe 28 is displaced by new slip.

摘要： An apparatus for slip casting includes a pouring pipe for supplying slip, to which each mold is connected by way of a pouring hose having a pouring valve. A slip discharge pipe is provided in the vicinity of the pouring pipe. The pouring pipe and the slip discharge pipe are connected by a by-pass pipe which includes a rising pipe, a traverse pipe, a connecting pipe and an atmosphere pipe. Slip is fed from the pouring pipe to each mold. After a body is formed with a predetermined thickness in each mold 1, pressurized air is fed to the slip discharge spaces to discharge surplus slip to the slip discharge pipe. The height of the rising pipe is set so that the pressure of discharging the surplus slip and the head pressure of the slip within the rising pipe balance each other when the surplus slip is discharged to the slip discharge pipe. This allows the pressure within the slip discharge spaces to be stabilized.
