摘要： Device for lifting of a paper sheet stack to a loading head of a printing machine where the paper sheets are deposited in a stack and taken off from at its top. The device is provided with a NON-STOP loader with a supporting grillage (6) formed of bars and an auxiliary lifting device for this grillage (6). The supporting grillage (6) is in contact with an extractable rear lifting beam (3) of an auxiliary stack (4). By one of its ends the extractable rear lifting beam (4) of the auxiliary stack (4) is mounted in the lifting device, which is placed on the non-serviced machine side and it is secured against pulling out. The other end of the extractable rear lifting beam (3), auxiliary stack (4), which is on the operator's side of the machine is loose. After use the device against pulling out is released and deposited somewhere outside the machine so that it does not hamper the operator in providing normal loader functions.

The printed product transfer assembly preferably still further includes a delivery shaft; a transfer cylinder including releasibly interconnected first and second longitudinal cylinder half portions, each half portion including an arched outer shell segment forming a portion of a printed product conveying surface and first and second shell segment half hub structures secured respectively within and to the first and second longitudinal cylinder half portions, the half hub structures including delivery shaft receiving structure and hub inter-connection elements releasibly joining the first and second half hub structures together; and a transfer cylinder anti-rotation collar for fixing the transfer cylinder against rotation about and relative to the delivery shaft.

The universal cylinder mount comprises at least one helically-shaped spiral or engaging edge to facilitate reducing or completely eliminating the seizing action between the cylinder aperture and the universal cylinder mount of the cylinder when the mounts are rotated in a non-engraving direction or are moved away from the mounting surfaces.

摘要： An arrangement for transporting metallized belts or bands in a machine for transferring the metallized images from the belts or bands onto a sheet comprises a support for the belt supply bobbins, advance rollers for intermittent unrolling and advancing the belts, guide rollers for guiding the belts between the platens and then a discharge state around one of the platens of the press, a tension roller for placing the belts under tension and an arrangement for removing the worn belts from the machine. The advance rollers are arranged in a parallel group downstream from the platen press and slightly above a plane of transport for the sheets through the press. The machine includes at least one window provided in at least one of the lateral walls of the frame of the machine above this group of advance rollers so that an operator may easily obtain access to the rollers for replacement of the bands and/or adjusting the position of the bands.

The method involves marking the ticket, either manually or mechanically, as void before it may be canceled by the machine. Ticket reprints would be eliminated, and the terminal would have to read a portion of the barcode and the void mark to cancel a ticket. A complete serial number could be typed in if the barcode is not able to be read by the terminal. The requirement that the actual ticket being canceled be read by the scanner in the terminal would eliminate the fraud associated with the cancellation of lottery tickets.

The keeper tab 36 is mounted in a "t" slot formed on the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder on which the mounting strip is mounted. The mounting strips 26 are flat and formed of a thermoplastic material using an injection molding process.
